Undisputed best live venue / bar in GP hands down. Great food, great staff, great times!! John is the shit!!!!

Sitting here at Finger Eleven/ I Mother Earth concert, and it’s at least 30 mins each time for our waitress to check on us. Horrible service.

My new favourite bar. From out of town but I would come back here in a heartbeat. Had a blast shooting pool and playing the arcade games

Love this place. Best live music venue in GP. And the food is fantastic. They also do take out food which is great after work.

I've frequented bars literally across the whole of Canada, and Better Than Fred's is still my all time favourite spot I've posted up. Best wings on the planet. Perfectly maintained pool tables, and the best tunes, either live or the custom playlist they're pumpin. 10 out of 10, would bang ���

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. I love going here for my Friday lunch treat and ordering their chicken burger (that is by far the best in town). Today there was a small whoops from the kitchen on my order. I called to let them know and was told they would make up a new one for me AND bring it to me at my work a block up the road. This was above and beyond what I had asked for!!! John and the staff at Fred's are truly amazing.

I love paint nights at Better than Fred's, and would like to attend them all!

They make sure everyone is HAPPY and comes away with something beautiful. Thank you. They share their talents with us, very giving are Dee and Amy. The only two I have had the pleasure to meet! The staff are attentative and a pleasure to be around. I'm hooked. I wil continue to come to Better than Fred's!!

I have always loved Better Than Fred’s!!! Awesome, homemade food, great atmosphere and always something happening there for live entertainment!!! Paint N Party Nite is a fantastic event to go to as well!!! Stop in the lounge, have some fantastic smoked wings and bevies then head to the back for some painting good times with some great folks!!! Can’t say enough about this Gem in our town!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Better Than Freds brings in amazing bands on a regular basis. They have a fantastic pulled pork sandwich! And a great environment. I give it "two wet mouths and three sloppy kisses."

Best management best employees. Steph may be the best waitress in gp!

BBQ sampler was dynamite!! Great place for beers and chill out

Amazing venue with stellar smokehouse bbq. The wings and ribs are off the charts and the staff is very cool. Can’t wait to go back.

Always great atmosphere and the food is DELICIOUS!!!! Where else can you chat with others while listening to live music, eat yummy food and play pool. The place has large windows so you don't feel like you're in a dark dingy bar and it's located in the heart of downtown. It truly is Better Than Fred's.

Always a great meal and drinks every time we come! Also a new feature dessert "autumn spice cake" massive piece, delicious and if you add a scoop of ice cream it's perfect for sharing!

I come to Fred's alot especially for paint nights never have any issues. However to fight a bunch of us came at 6 for dinner before going to see dirty dancing. We ordered our food around 630 it is now 725 and we still do t have it. Event starts at 8. I understand it is busy but I have been here when it has been busier and haven't waited this long.
