We love having a place in the country for our Rudy. He always seems happy to drive up the drive way and begin his time at " camp " !!! Thanx for providing great care for our special family member!

We just got home and we couldn't be happier with how Taz looks ! We used the new grooming service and it is amazing. We have we have been clients for about 7 years and Taz normally has about 3-5, 10 day long stays a year and countless short term stays. Taz only stays at Better than home. We love your kennel and the staff. We rave to friends and family about Better than Home. Taz is so well taken care of and always comes home happy and tired from all her play time outside.

Taz has not been groomed or bathed ,accept for the odd brushing from about October. Need less to say she needed a good de shedding and cleanup for sure. Taz is about a 100lbs blond lab/ Husky. We have had her groomed many times over the 8 years we have had her and she has never looked better. Her coat is bright soft and shinning and her insanely thick coat and puffy tail look great. We could not stop talking about it while driving home. Even her paws are soft and smooth and trimmed. She looks 10 lbs lighter and 5 years younger. It was also amazingly convient to be able to have her come home and look this good with the convience of not having to book a separate appointment during our busy work schedules. We will be using this service again for sure!

We have been taking our beagles to Better Than Home for pet boarding since 2010 when run by the past and current staff. Our fur babies are our children and wish we could take them everywhere with us so to be able to leave them at a facility like this allows us to feel confident that they are being well cared for and having fun!

We recently left our fur baby Kirby over Christmas and he had so much fun. He even was fed Christmas turkey dinner and left overs for the next two days! When we picked him up he was given a Christmas stocking full of goodies and a personalized paw print! The staff replies to phone messages and email to let you know how your pup is doing and you can tell they truly love and care for your fur babies!

Very pleased with our experience with Better Than Home. The facility was very clean and well organized, lots of space for the dogs to run around outside & play with new puppy friends, helpful & friendly staff members, and my dogs came home happy & healthy. Will definitely be using this kennel again and recommending to friends & family as well. Thank you for taking good care of our furry family members while we were away :)

Very happy with the service and care. It is apparent that the staff here have a genuine love and concern for all the dogs in care. The care is personalized for each dog. I also have to comment that my dog has stayed at other kennels before, and I was happy with them as well, however this is the first time she came home without that "kennel smell" on her. The cleanliness must be top notch here. Better than Home will be my first choice in the future! Thank you!

Thanks Alyssa for taking Rhea to the dog park for play time while I was at work. She's a happy puppy! Such a great and convient service. We just left Rhea at the kennel for 14 nights and she had a blast. I really appreciate the video updates so we can see how our girl is doing while we are away. When I picked her up she didn't even want to leave. This has been our best kennel experience yet. Rhea required medication while at the kennel and she was well taken care of.

In a time of extreme stress, and uncertainty, Better than Home Kennel opened their doors to our three babies, and many other pets that were evacuated from Fort McMurray, due to the wildfires. That first night, when Ashley greeted us at the door after 1am, with a huge smile on her face, I knew our girls were going to be well loved, and well looked after. For two weeks, she took care of our dog, Ares, and our kitties, Nyra and Kahleah, and we didn't worry at all. Each time we visited them, they were so happy! Ashley and her crew took such a huge weight off our shoulders, which, to us, was priceless!

I would absolutely, without hesitation, recommended this wonderful place to anyone and everyone who asks... And even to those who don't ask LOL Ashley, there is no way we could possibly repay you for the love and kindness you showed our babies, for opening your doors when you were supposed to be taking your first holiday in five years! I'm writing this review for my mom -- she doesn't have Facebook. We went to Hawaii for 25 days in September and needed a reliable place to board her chocolate lab, Finn, while we were so far away. We had boarded him at Better Than Home for a short trip last year with good results, so, we were happy to board Finn here for this longer period as well. He came back to us at the end of 25 days very happy and healthy! Better Than Home was really quick to respond to emails and very helpful. Also, It was so much fun (and a relief to my mom) to see videos posted every week of Finn playing and running around with the other dogs while we were gone. We will definitely use Better Than Home in the future. Totally recommended!

I was very apprehensive leaving my "special" NOVA in a kennel for over a week while on vacation, especially at Christmas!!!! Being that it was her first experience, the staff at Better Than Home Pet Boarding reassured me she would be given a lot of attention with playtime, fun and exercise. Nova was definitely well taken care of and even got a Christmas stocking filled with toys and treats, plus the staff took time to make a special ornament with her paw print. Wow! Amazing!

They also sent a video on Christmas Day of all the puppies, running and playing to Christmas music. It was a great comfort knowing she was in a happy place.

I recently went away for an extended long weekend and took my fur baby to Better Than Home. I had heard nothing but great things from friends and family about this establishment and it truly did meet and exceed my expectations.

As a dog parent, everyone knows how hard it can be to leave them. Your biggest worry is their well being.

The staff at Better Than Home were amazing. They sent me videos and updates as to how my dog was doing which was so comforting to me.

I would take my dog back anytime. Its amazing to know there are great people out there who will love and care for your pets the same as you would!

I had reservation about putting my dog in a kennel and Better then Home Pet Boarding reassured me of all my worries. :) My dog recently lost his fur buddy that he did everything with so I was not sure if his anxiety would set in, over his huge loss. So I decided to bring our dog out and take a tour of the kennel and little meet and greet with some of the dogs and staff. The outdoors had a fenced in green space for walking and running and playing. While the indoor barn building had different size kennels for all pets and the floor was heated. So when it came back to dropping him off for his mini "staycation" at the kennel, he was excited and could not wait to go in. This made my heart happy as i knew at that moment it was a perfect fit. What even made this boarding experience better was that Alyssa from Better then home brought our dog Cozmo home for us. It was a great feeling to come home to our pooch waiting for us and he was SO excited! This service of pet transportation is much appreciated as he didn't have to stay another day and we did not have to rush out to pick him up. Definatly a win win for everyone!!!! Happy to say that we already booked for the next journey.

I Had Maverick and Duke at better then home for about 3 weeks when I was working out of town . The dogs loved it they got to run around and play on a acreage with other dogs instead of being locked up in a kennel like most other kennels. The best part was the weekly video that gets uploaded so you can see how the dogs are doing. I will be bringing my dogs back here next time I need to put them in a kennel. I definitely recommend this place if you like your dog to enjoy a good time at a kennel. The staff is amazing they treat the dogs like they are their own dogs and very respectful and professional towards customers.

Georgia and Switzer just got back home after their first stay at Better than Home. They were full of smiles and excitement when we picked them up, and now they are slumbering peacefully no doubt dreaming about the new friends both k9 and human that they made over the weekend. This kennel is beautiful, with a huge well maintained partially wooded area where the dogs can play with their new friends or explore the smells. The kennel that Georgia and Switzer slept in was very large and clean. The staff here are all very professional and its easy to put your trust in them once you see how much the dogs love them. So happy to have found Better than Home.

Both of our dogs just love it here and it's great that they can share a dog run together. A little back story: Our oldest dog had a terrible experience at another boarding place a few years back and she never went back to one because of it. Once we got our second dog we decided to take her here with him and it was a total change. She lasted the entire weekend and left with a huge smile on her face!



The staff here are great, I'm so happy knowing that they get to play and socialize with so many awesome dogs.

Better Than Home has been wonderful for us. We feel very comfortable leaving our boys there to stay while we are away. It is evident that staff provide a high level of care to the dogs and they do care for their well-being. We have used this kennel several times for our 14 year old lab. He was always looking very good and happy when we picked him up. I spoke to staff shortly after he passed away this year and the staff member was genuinely sad to hear the news and spoke of how much they loved having our boy with them for those times. This kennel will always be my first and trusted choice and I will continue to recommend them.

Amazing!! They are so great! I have a very active dobe and she got more than enough exercise! She was there for a week, and wouldnt get off the couch. She was so tired from all of the fun! Definitely will be back!!

So I decided to bring our dog out and take a tour of the kennel and little meet and greet with some of the dogs and staff. The outdoors had a fenced in green space for walking and running and playing. While the indoor barn building had different size kennels for all pets and the floor was heated. So when it came back to dropping him off for his mini "staycation" at the kennel, he was excited and could not wait to go in. This made my heart happy as i knew at that moment it was a perfect fit. What even made this boarding experience better was that Alyssa from Better then home brought our dog Cozmo home for us. It was a great feeling to come home to our pooch waiting for us and he was SO excited! This service of pet transportation is much appreciated as he didn't have to stay another day and we did not have to rush out to pick him up. Definatly a win win for everyone!!!! Happy to say that we already booked for the next journey.

I Had Maverick and Duke at better then home for about 3 weeks when I was working out of town . The dogs loved it they got to run around and play on a acreage with other dogs instead of being locked up in a kennel like most other kennels. The best part was the weekly video that gets uploaded so you can see how the dogs are doing. I will be bringing my dogs back here next time I need to put them in a kennel. I definitely recommend this place if you like your dog to enjoy a good time at a kennel. The staff is amazing they treat the dogs like they are their own dogs and very respectful and professional towards customers.

Georgia and Switzer just got back home after their first stay at Better than Home. They were full of smiles and excitement when we picked them up, and now they are slumbering peacefully no doubt dreaming about the new friends both k9 and human that they made over the weekend. This kennel is beautiful, with a huge well maintained partially wooded area where the dogs can play with their new friends or explore the smells. The kennel that Georgia and Switzer slept in was very large and clean. The staff here are all very professional and its easy to put your trust in them once you see how much the dogs love them. So happy to have found Better than Home.

Both of our dogs just love it here and it's great that they can share a dog run together. A little back story: Our oldest dog had a terrible experience at another boarding place a few years back and she never went back to one because of it. Once we got our second dog we decided to take her here with him and it was a total change. She lasted the entire weekend and left with a huge smile on her face!



The staff here are great, I'm so happy knowing that they get to play and socialize with so many awesome dogs.

Better Than Home has been wonderful for us. We feel very comfortable leaving our boys there to stay while we are away. It is evident that staff provide a high level of care to the dogs and they do care for their well-being. We have used this kennel several times for our 14 year old lab. He was always looking very good and happy when we picked him up. I spoke to staff shortly after he passed away this year and the staff member was genuinely sad to hear the news and spoke of how much they loved having our boy with them for those times. This kennel will always be my first and trusted choice and I will continue to recommend them.

Amazing!! They are so great! I have a very active dobe and she got more than enough exercise! She was there for a week, and wouldnt get off the couch. She was so tired from all of the fun! Definitely will be back!!
