With over two decades of experience, Maeghen holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Karate, Black Belt in WTF Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, traditional Muay Thai, and is a Full-Contact Muay Thai fighter. As an 11-time World Champion in Kickboxing and Sport Karate and World Medalist in Traditional Japanese, Korean, and Chinese Forms, Maeghen is an accomplished athlete who also a Team Canada Athletic Coach. From teaching students as young as three years old to adults and special needs students, Maeghen is a passionate instructor dedicated to providing an inclusive and motivating environment for all athletes. Maeghen's impact extends beyond the studio as she received the 2016 Avenue Magazine's Top 40 under 40 award, the Agent of Change Award for Green Sparrow Care, and serve as a Board Member for Pace Kids, Ambassador for Fast and Female, and Board Member of the Canadian Cancer Society fundraising gala committee. Maeghen is also a motivational and public speaker, corporate health and wellness coordinator, and offers personal training, self-defense, life coaching, fitness classes, and diet plans. With a 5500 sq foot fully equipped martial arts /fitness studio and over 1000 active athletes, Maeghen is the driving force behind 5 Elements Martial Arts and the main training center for Team Canada. Whether in the studio or out in the community, Maeghen is dedicated to empowering others through fitness and martial arts.
