Big Hill Springs Provincial Park

Awesome place to go with kids. Spring Creek great for playing in. Perfect but for two things. 1. A bit busy, 2. People pick up after their dogs poo but then leave the little blue bag on the trail somewhere. My wife and I counted 12 of such bags.

In less than a half hour from the city you can be at this awesome provincial park. Great hiking for kids, not too difficult or too long. Lots of little waterfalls and spots to enjoy and for kids to play. We had a wonderful time here!

Very beautiful hike. Was one of the most beautiful and family friendly places I have ever been to. Very close to Calgary and the water and the trees there are just stunning. I highly recommend it for families with little ones or for couples who are looking for a "nice walk" kinda hike

Such a lovely and beautiful place to visit, especially in the summer. Some very beautiful sights and the peaceful atmosphere is a lovely city escape. Also features a lovely hike which isn't too long and takes about 30-60 minutes depending on your speed. Some steep hills in parts, depending on how far off path you'd like to go.

It's a very beautiful place, great for hiking or walks or hanging out with friends and family. Good place for a picnic or a photo shoot. This might sound weird to some people, but to me the area really reminded me of fantasy fiction. Keep this place clean!

This is small but BIG green park with a small clean river and great place for BBQ and whole family. I love it!

This is a great little stop to check out a natural oddity while on a raid trip.

This is a gem of little provincial parks! It is perfect for a family hike and picnic, complete with a natural wading pool for the kids. There are no BarBQs or fire pits, but still great for a picnic lunch!
