Wish we could get there more often. The food is fabulous. The surroundings are so welcoming and it’s just fun to visit! Anytime someone says let’s go out. I immediately do the math to see if they will go to Heisler!

Went for supper last night ..pork chops with garlic potatoes ,soup and lemon meringue pie.Such a Jem of a place , owners are fantastic as was our waitress. Will definitely tell friends and for sure will be going back!!

Was there on sunday with a bike run they opened up for us and turned out an excellent beef on a bun meal for us at a great price thank you guys so much for everything

The food was absolutely delicious it's a nice little Pub hidden in the middle of nowhere is definitely a gym or a diamond in the rough

Stop here every time we head south and it is absolutely amazing! Wouldn’t miss out lunch time break at Big Willy’s!

Rave to Big Willy’s Bar in Heisler. We stopped in there last night for supper after a super long, all day bike ride. We didn’t know they are closed on Sundays so They weren’t open for the public as they had just Finished hosting 86 people from the Battle River Train excursion. The staff was eating and taking a well deserved break. They saw us four outside on our bikes, opened the door and fed us the most delicious left overs(steak, perogies, salads and desserts and a cold beer. It was so nice of them after such a busy day. Small town hospitality at its best. Check them out. Great food.

Never disappointed..coldest beer in the area and not overpriced..food is unique and flavorful..presentation always a surprise..and for me, a place with good soups are a delight..service can never be faulted, with allowances for new staff..

Had lunch here today! Food was amazing! And kid friendly! � thanks again!!

Cannot say enough how much we loved and appreciated the attention and detail that Kelly gave us for our 25th anniversary celebration at Big Willy's Bar. Us as well as all of our guests enjoyed ourselves and the delicious food so very much. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Big Willy's is a little out of the way but definitely worth the drive. Fortunately, we live in town and try to take advantage of a meal out as often as we are able. We always experience great service and great food. It's like walking into " Cheers". Big Willy's is a great addition to our town of Heisler. The hotel has been totally renovated and includes a pool table. Come and experience a nice outing!

Battle River Train Excursions CANNOT say thank you enough to Big Willy's Bar at The Heisler Hotel! Yesterday we rolled into their establishment with 86 people, which they handled cheerfully, professionally and with lots of fun and an amazing steak supper. Thank you to Jon and Kelly for continuing to be such amazing partners as we both do our little parts to make others see how great it is to live in rural Alberta!
