Bill Warren Training Centre

The BWTC is located at the Canmore Nordic Centre, the host site of the cross-country skiing and biathlon events at the 1988 Olympic Winter Games. Canmore residents and athletes regularly access the BWTC for training support.

The BWTC was established in 1994, named after Bill Warren who played a major role in bringing the Olympics to Calgary in 1988. The BWTC is home to Canada's National cross country ski team as well as Canada's Biathlon National team. We also house the World cup Academy, Canmore Nordic Ski Club, Biathlon Alberta and few others. We also manage the Haig Glacier Operation and the Spray Village Athlete Housing. Stay tuned to this Facebook page for new photos and updates of the BWTC and Haig Glacier.
