Bing'S Family Restaurant & Lounge - Spruce Grove

It’s been 20 years today since we lost our Grandpa Bing. My Grandma Poy Fong passed away this last December. With both of the Choy anchors gone, we can only reminisce about them and remember their talents and the love they bestowed on us. My grandfather’s obvious talent with food (hence Bing’s) and his jovial and boisterous mannerisms- we still have customers to this day remembering his comments or commenting on him. Grandpa Bing had such a strong demeanor. And my grandmother who was our silent hero, who always was in the background doing the sidework, washing dishes, and just Giving everyone a sweet smile as her sole means of communication. She never asked for much, and hated being in the limelight, but we remembered her as the cute, little Chinese doll that she was.
We love you grandpa and grandma and forever love and miss you.

Spruce Grove Public Works annual staff appreciation dinner! These guys work very hard for our city! Two thumbs up and lots of appreciation for you guys! I would have taken a picture of the food, but they were pretty hungry so we chose to feed them first 😂😂

They have been actively supporting our community for 45 years, with many pioneers of Spruce Grove still actively involved with the association. After the freezing rain, and hail, the city streets are like a skating rink. We are salting our sidewalks and parking lot, but ask our customers to proceed with EXTREME caution when coming for lunch/dinner (or going anywhere for that matter)
We put this same sign in the parking lot as well. Pls be careful out there!

It’s bring your kid to work day, so we have Dylan here today! We showed him how to make wonton soup and a grilled bacon and cheese sandwich. We made him bus tables, clean the window ledges, set tables. Now I am gonna charge his mom for training fees! 😂

Over the course of the next few weeks, we will have a few election candidates host an event to meet with the community, and discuss their concerns and any relevant issues pertaining to the community. It is important to hear their viewpoints to help you make an informed decision of who can best represent YOU!
Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 19th, Michelle Thiebaud-Gruhlke will be here from 5:30pm - 8:00 pm. She has been an active member in the community and Chamber of Commerce! Take the time to drop by and say "hi" and chat!

Better late than never, but HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mom's out there.
Also- a HUGE SHOUTOUT (again) to all our wonderful staff that worked so hard this week to prepare for the "battle" today. Our staff did not stop from the minute the doors opened to wayyyyyy past the hours after the doors closed. THANK YOU!!

Thanks for the GREAT PLAYOFF run, Oiler's. You kept us on the edge of the seat the entire time, and we're PROUD! You also kept Bing's nice and busy- dry ribs and hockey games......noms.......
Now that Oilers' season is done for now, it's time to pay attention to the moms again!

This has to be my favourite place on spruce Groves. They always make us feel welcome, and they make the best Chinese food in the city.

Ordered take out for the family for my birthday supper, food was very good, we will be ordering from Bing's again. Great selection, good amount of food for the price.

Lunch was great today. Again. Great visit and catch up with friends.
