Our service to the VSM FB groups aims to locate discontinued and hard to obtain parts so that your machine can sew again.

The purpose of this page is to make parts available for many VSMs so that they sew again. Parts & accessories are ordered by DM in Canada and tested by KKH in Texarkana, TX on original machines, not clones. The parts are listed under Photos in named Albums. Videos of parts testing have links on the main page.

We are presently working out the shipping process. Redistribution from a US center takes longer and is more costly, but there are companies that provide very good direct shipping rates from Canada to the USA using a wide range of carriers. Shipping by mail in N. America is included in the price for orders over $25USD. We will also deduct 5% for orders over $50USD and a further 5% for orders over $100USD. GST and HST are extra in Canada. In case you missed this info, ALL PRICES ARE IN US$.

Express shipping is extra. Also, if you order an elephant costing 10 cents, shipping will be extra at our discretion. As well, shipping two elephants will cost you more than shipping one elephant! UPS and FEDEX have 150lb dimensional weight limits. FEDEX ground is available here. If you request regular shipping, I will ship once a week by Canada Post or an economic equivalent service. Expect your shipment to arrive in 2-3 weeks depending on your location and our stock availability. Express shipments will go to the depot more quickly. Obviously everything costs money, but we will do our best to keep the prices here low (USD only), so that you can use your machines for sewing rather than as decoration.

We would also like to have some people willing to test small parts for us on machines that we do not have ourselves and, will provide that part free of charge to you.

Conditions: You must have a machine in good working order and be able to pay for the part with your order. A refund will be given if you review the part within 30 days of receipt on our page. A photo of you testing the part on the machine would be appreciated and we ask that you use 30 - 50 words to describe using the part for other hobbyists to see that it works on Brand X machine. This means that you can still say, "It works! " but add other information too please. If there is a problem please contact us for help. No service is perfect, but we will do what we can to help you. We can not make this FREE offer for whole sets of parts such as presser feet, sorry.

Exports from Canada are tax free up to the maximum determined by your own country. I believe that US customs permits imports valued up to $150. We are not responsible for those taxes levied at the destination or associated customs /brokerage fees. You will get a formal invoice for payment prior to shipping of the goods. Please review your order and make any changes before you confirm your order and pay us. If there are freebies, they will appear on the order at no cost!

There are many more sewing machine parts on the web than you realize. We may be able to help you find parts for your machine, but if the part comes from a time before Singer et al standardized the SM components with many other machine manufacturers, then there may be little available off the shelf. I have said in several FB forums that I have equipment and software to custom make some sewing machine parts and am talking to factories with the same capabilities. I'm hoping to do this sometime in 2018 and intend to add the products to this page.

Some items will not be in stock in large numbers. If you are definitely interested in an item or want a large number, please let us know. If we can place a bigger order, then faster shipping from the Far East can be economical. Please be patient and courteous. This is a part-time biz that's trying to help you, the user. Also, both of us are new at this online business thing. Don't let that put you off, we are nice, reliable people. If there's a problem please send us a detailed message.

As perfectionists, we will do what we can to help you fix a problem. DM does not rebuild SMs, but KKH does. We will try to help you as best we can, but be prepared to search for solutions on FB and Yahoo yourself. Find the SM service manual online. Totally impossible people who want us to learn a foreign language and pay a personal visit must pay extra (4 years of college, airfares, hotel, meals, etc). DM has some high school French, but English is preferred.

Also, if there is something that you are interested in obtaining, please let us know, show us a photo and provide a part number or a link and we will talk to factories to see what can be done for you and may bring in multiple items for other users with the same machines. We are not bound to one particular supplier and so can find solutions more easily than many retail sellers. However, we ask that you pre-pay special orders and allow for some shipping costs.
