Howdy all..Well it Moms Day this Sunday May 13th an to celebrate it we will be having a draw for a gift certificate to those who bring their Mom.. Gramma in for either Brekkie..Lunch.. or Dinner.. 9am until 9 pm. Hope to see you... Have a fantastic weekend!!

Wonderful home made breakfast. Great service. It was like stepping back in time a little. This is the only place we will go out to for breakfast now.

We have introduced a lot of our friends to this place and they all love it, we have also met some friends there that we hadn't seen in awhile. We eat here quite often now that we have moved to Calgary...Great place...Great staff!

There are fewer and fewer diners where a trucker can park a truck and trailer and enjoy 24 hour service, good food, good service, good conversation if there is a counter where drivers can congregate. And then there is the Blackfoot. The Blackfoot still offers all of the above. I just hope some of that parking that has been lost to the light rail project is returned after the rail construction is completed.

Stopped in today to try out this famous Flapper Pie I heard about. I bought the whole pie to take home with me. It was huge, mile high angel food merengue, and homemade in house. The pie was well worth $18. Thank you Blackfoot Diner for my first ever Flapper Pie experience. I’ll be back again; but next time I’ll be bringing home your strawberry rhubarb pie as well! OMG (drool).

Staff are friendly and food is 100% homemade fresh and delicious.

Love the HOME STYLE cooked meals, BIG portions... and impeccable friendly service , friendly place to come everyone is so nice .The juke box at the tables brings back memories from my childhood ! Would highly recommend and very affordable! Sunday Brunch ? this is the place you want to be! Jerry is so friendly :)

I'll be honest with you, I love this place. I've been looking for a nice old diner, it I was in later last night and learned that the day time cooks are a bit better than the evening ones. Much love!

I love the old school, dated look. The music had me singing along, and my waitress had me laughing. She was so cool. The food was great and my kids enjoyed the train when they saw it rolling around the restaurant. A great experience all around in my eyes. No "hoity toity" nonsense. Just great comfort food, real service, and a great experience for me, my friend, and my kids. One of my favorite places to go in Calgary.

I have been coming here for years, first started with the wife, then having children we brought them and now our children have children and we bring them too! generation after generation of memories and really good home cooked meals at decent prices. Thumbs up place to go! At anytime of the day or night

I always like the Blackfoot. It's an environment. The decor, the serving staff, the clientele, and the food. It's all part of an experience some might call nostalgia, but to me it's comfort. While it's definitely not 5 star dining, the food is all cooked on the premises, unlike most restaurants these days, where everything is cooked in a big central kitchen, and reheated at the franchise.

A comforting and classic 24 hour diner with good prices and hearty meals all around the clock. And they even have a garden scale train that runs around below the ceiling. A fun place to meet with friends on a regular basis.

Slow service and you really know your on the other side of the tracks. Food isn't the best quality. Kind of felt sorry for the staff or we would have walked out.

Mom and I went there Saturday April 7. I had the working man breakfast was not to bad. Mom had the cheese burger deluxe. I stole one her fries she said the burger was pretty good. No room for flapper pie tho.

Stopped in yesterday for breaky...must say huge disappointment...potatoes.were.raw and hard.....eggs were cold..toast was cold..butter would not.melt.on it....hopefully this was just a one time thing.....i will go back beause this is the first time i was truly let down

i found this place on top 10 best places to eat in calgary just this morning we went to eat at 12:30 am good place nice environment well i had found a beastly bedbug on my hand!! omg totally disgusted me and uuugh grossed me out paid my bill and got the hell out of there!!!!

Were directed where to sit. Sat that for 14 mins. No menus, no beverages, no waiter. Nothing. She came along and helped the table that seated next to us 10 mins after we arrived.

We walked out after telling the cashier we were not impressed.

Hi.After hearing, and reading so many good reviews on Blackfoot Truckstop Diner, we went there Christmas Day and ordered the Special Turkey Dinner. It was awful from start to finish and we left -after paying $33.50- feeling totally disappointed! The turkey was dry and tasted stale, the stuffing was inedible and was like "glue" and the strawberry dessert tasted artificial. We would like a refund especially after this experience.We were reluctant to complain to the manager at the time as it was Christmas Day, and we didn't want to spoil it for anyone. We did tell the man who was picking up the dishes afterward, and he said he would "pass it on". Thankyou. I look forward to hearing from you.
