Christmas is upon us, and so it the annual Shields tradition of hosting a Free Christmas Dinner Buffet here at Blackjacks Roadhouse & Games Room.
On Tuesday, December 25th, 2018, anyone and everyone is welcome to join us for Christmas Dinner. The Wold Famous St. Peter's Lutheran Church Choir will be performing once again, we'll have turkey with all the fixings, and there will be plenty of merriment to go around.
Nobody should be alone at Christmas, so come join us from 11AM... - 5PM on Christmas Day.
Dinner is completely FREE, but we ask that if you are able, please bring non-perishable items as a donation that will be going to support the Leduc & District Food Bank Association.

Sunday, November 11th marks a century since the guns fell silent on World War One. Since that time, Canadians have lived, fought, and died to preserve good in the world. All we can do is honour and thank them in our own way. This is one of our gestures of gratitude to those who put their life on the line.

Last night at Blackjacks was a perfect night of east meeting west. Derina Harvey Band put on a dynamite show, the crowd danced up a storm, and Team Believe 2018 were exceptional hosts for the evening. We all want to extend a giant thank you to all who came out. Little Warriors is a cause worth fighting for.

What a night at Blackjacks! Uptown was awesome, the costumes were amazing, and the people were dancing up a storm all night! A big thank you to the Nisku Leduc Rotary Club for hosting, and wrangling up some killer prizing for best costumes! And, thank you to everyone who came out to support. You helped make the night fantastic.

Right now at Blackjacks, Uptown is rocking the stage for the Nisku Leduc Rotary Club. We’ve still got tickets!!!

The ghosts and goblins will be out in full force tonight. If you can dress better than them, you'll have a good chance at winning some awesome prizes, and come get your dance on with Uptown!!!

Nice joint, creatively set up to cater to many different tastes. The sound system is pretty darn good, the decor swings many ways from Biker/Trucker to Gambler/Drinker and automotive hard-hearts with Dragsters and Funny Cars mounted on the walls and ceiling!



But the crew is what makes the biggest difference, Clarence and the Gals are always nice and engaging...

My lacrosse club, the St.Albert Miners, had blackjacks host our national tournament wrap up party (400+ people). The venue was incredible, tons of space for everyone, the food was awesome and the staff were very friendly. You can tell it’s a family run business! I highly recommend them for any big group event!

It is always a great time at Blackjacks! The food is excellent and the portions are huge! I have been to private events upstairs with small groups, Christmas parties and also many fundraisers and have never been disappointed! Krysta is amazing and takes care of all the details for you! Big shout out to all the staff, but especially Sarah who goes above and beyond and always has a smile on her face! Well done Blackjacks!

Great place! The house was packed and I got my burger (which was delicious btw) 5 minutes after I had ordered it. Seriously, 5 mins!!! And the staff was super friendly and on point. Very biker friendly. My husband and I always feel very welcome there. I give it 5 stars 100% Looking forward to going back.

Great food and good service. Lots of parking for big rigs. The " Riff Raff " doesn't seem to come to this place. I will definitely be planning my trips so I can stop here when I come through. �

Excellent night out at Blackjacks! Food ..entertainment..service..made for a successful evening! The fundraising event was done in a professional manner...kudos to All staff and Clarence Shields for once again proving that compassion..kindness and patience goes a long way!! Blackjacks generously donated a private party package to Leduc Victims Services Live auction in October. My fiance and I were the successful bidders! We decided to have our civil ceremony at Blackjacks a few weekends ago and use our private party to celebrate this occasion. It was such a fun evening surrounded by close family- and Krysta + the Blackjacks crew set the upstairs space perfectly! Krysta was a dream to work with during the planning phase: quick response times, great suggestions and relaxed. We had the upstairs all to ourselves with our own private bartender- Sarah!

Sarah MADE THE NIGHT. She was so fun! All of my family and friends have commented on her wonderful service and we will definitely be back to see her. Sarah kept the party moving and was super efficient! She was even a good sport when a couple of the obnoxious groomsmen forced her to come for a dance haha!

While we are going to Mexico soon to have our actual "wedding day", I will fondly look back on our experience at Blackjacks and remember all the fun we had. The food was great, the environment was fun, and the service was impeccable! Not only will we be back to visit the restaurant/lounge to enjoy the food, we will definitely book this venue for milestone events in the future! Thanks again!!!!

My daughter and I had a good meal and a great server ...this place is every inviting...thanks to all the staff who makes it possible and they always smile..thats a bonus...keep up the great job...we have no problem letting others know where to go for awesome meals...

A group of us went to the Man in Black tonight and we were excited about going. We got our table, the waitress came as soon as she could as it was busy, took our orders for the drinks and food, we all thought this is going to be an awesome night, and it was other than the horrible service that was to come. Ashley was the worst ever, in all our years of dining out we never ever had a waitress stop tending to our table, then give us dirty looks all night when she would walk by. First she messed up our bill even though she wrote all orders down including drinks. There were 2 tables of us that she had somehow combined orders. She then chased one of the guys at the table to the silent auction to pay for his bill, twice. Then she brought over a bill for table number 2 and that was messed up as well. 2 of the people went to the bar to get this straight and the waitress was very rude and unprofessional about the whole thing and tried to make us feel like it was our fault. For 2 other people at our table she brought the wrong bill and she grabbed it back and said she would pay for it and stormed off never to return to the tables for service. I completely understand that she was having a bad night and she was new but honestly it was a very unpleasant way to spend an evening. Please don’t ever turn your back on your customers and completely ignore them for the rest of the night each time you need to walk by, you totally missed out of good tips tonight, just a suggestion, review your serving etiquette.

Well after 11 hours on the road I felt like going to one of my regular spots to relax with the dinner and a couple of beers and go to sleep. And then I was told that I have to pay $10 to park there overnight, but I get a $5 voucher??!

If you'd just say if we spend more than $10 in your establishment that parking is free, because wasn't that the whole point?? because not everybody was spending money in your building?!

And besides the service is nowhere near worth paying $10 to PARK and then spend more of my hard-earned money inside.

You've just lost a loyal customer forever, or until the 'Fatcat' decides he made a mistake!!

I am spreading the word to all drivers throughout the Prairies.

Apparently the owner isn't Rich enough and he'll continue to gouge our pockets...

not considering the fact that most of us don't have the same luxury he has..like being home at night

I have been going to blackjacks for years. When I have to load in Nisku or Leduc in the morning I would have supper, sleep, and then have breakfast there. Not anymore. $10 to park? Oh right I get $5 off my already overpriced meal. Not worth it. I will park at Petro Pass and eat at McDonalds or A&W.



The guy said he would talk to the boss about getting our guys VIP passes because so many of us use the place. Not anymore.

We came for the bike night and one of us won the hand. Asked what was happening and we were told the poker hand and the 50/50 were being rolled over to next week. What a fucking joke. No one told us until we asked and we are sitting around waiting for the 50/50.



I can tell you we will never be be back.



Shitty service for a place that always talks a big talk.

I used to like the place. Last time (couple of months ago) I was there I had the buffet, and there was no taste. Flat, boring, half dried up or soggy mush. But, I decided to go back tonight and was greeted by a woman that wanted $10 for the privilege of going there. But wait! I would get $5 off my meal if I paid her $10 to park. That's right! I get to pay $10 to get $5 off my tasteless meal, then I can go park in our truck yard in Leduc. Bye Bye Blackjacks!

I used to be a big fan of the place however I pulled in last night after 13 hrs of driving and was forced to pay for parking ( $10 a night) then another 20 bucks plus tip for dinner.. I’ve been a loyal customer here since they opened and always stopped for something to eat and coffee. Regardless if I was on my bike or in the large car. Very disappointed in the corporate cash grab from the very customers that helped build your business.. sadly.. I won’t be back again.

First ride of the season and thought we would join the crew at Blackjacks for bike night. Paid $20 to join the poker hand and another $20 in 50/50. Did the run and got back where we found out one of our group won the poker hand! Ordered a drink to wait for the draw...but....to no avail. As we were some of the last people there, we were finally told there would be no draw because there wasn’t enough money in the pot???? Since when Is there a minimum and why weren’t we told at the start??? Bad business Clarence...bad bad bad!! Won’t ever support a #Blackjacks again �
