I have been going to Blaskin and Lane Chinook for 5+ years now. The service has always been great and I trust them implicitly. If they tell me something needs doing, I do it no questions asked, and the price has never changed from quote. Recently my car was having issues that were extremely difficult to diagnose yet Steve and the mechanics took me in every time and never seemed to get sick of me complaining that something was wrong. I will never not go see them for any maintenance on my car.

On my way to work I blew a tire. I pulled in to a nearby shell station to get some help to change a flat tire. Steve came to my rescue. He worked acrossed the street at Blaskin & Lane and was on his way to work.
He held me up and running within 15 minutes and I made it to work on time.
Blaskin and Lane have become my new tire store! They are honest and great to work with. I have tried many garages, Karl tire, south centre VW and always come away with feeling ripped off.

Great service and honest mechanics. They weren't that busy when I brought my car in and I was a little nervous that they would try and find work just to keep the guys paid in the back shop. After inspecting a brake squeel, they cleaned the brakes and took it for a test drive. I told them since they had it on the hoist to do an oil change as well. When I got my car back they told me they fixed the squeel and the oil change was done. I only paid for the oil change and when I asked about owing money for the brake squeel they told me it was no charge because it was an easy fix.

I told them I was worried about the guys trying to "find work" because you were slow and they explained that their mechanics are not on the Flat Rate system. This means that they get paid weather your car needs work or not. This was very refreshing because in dealerships I know that the only way a mechanic gets paid is if they find something wrong with your car. Have you ever brought your car into dealership and it didn't need work? Me either. I will be going back for sure.
