Bloody Sundays is a passion project that began in 2010. It is concept project that will change the way an audience is presented a show. It will be part theatre, part narration, part animation and all rock and roll!
The music is a soundtrack to a story. The themes are dark and focus on murder and revenge.
The sound is unique, but takes influences such as Shakey Graves, Scott H. Biram and the Devil Makes 3. It takes on an overall pounding Bayou vibe, fast and in your face.
Bloody Sundays is one guy. . . Jay Burns. He sings, plays guitar, plays drums and plays harmonica. . . at the same time! The sound is more akin to a band than a solo performer.
The initial phase of Bloody Sundays is testing the waters in some live shows.
After that. . . well, you'll have to wait and see! 2016 /2017 is going to be an exciting adventure!
