Here at Blue Ridge Farms, we take pride in raising high quality animals using low stress handling methods, while continuously using our stock to improve the land.

Our cattle are fed forage year round, pasture in the summer and local quality hay in the winter. To finish our beef, we continue to feed them forage while adding grain into their diets for the last 60 days, this allows the meat to keep those healthy omegas from the grass feed while the grain puts a slight fat layer on for flavour. You can place your custom beef order year round.

We are proud to offer free range chickens and turkeys this year. Our chickens and turkeys are raised in the open air where they have an abundance of fresh grass, grubs, bugs and scratch grains. We have two breeds of chickens that will allow you to choose a desired size, 4-8 lbs, while ensuring the best quality and flavour possible.

This year we are very excited to offer you some of our very own pasture raised pork. Our purebred Berkshire pigs, known for their excellent marbling qualities, are able to run free, dig and root where ever they please. Our pigs do take a little longer to grow out on the open range but we believe it makes them taste that much better.

Note that chicken and pigs are seasonal and will only be available in the fall /winter so place your order soon.
