Growing up in small town Alberta, vegan friendly baked goods were essentially mythical unicorns to Blue Rose Baking Co. founder Sarah Louise, who eventually decided to take matters into her own hands. Constantly seeking options to satisfy her craving for delicious, compassionately made goods, she began to create her own! Years later, vegan baking still remains her passion.

We are out to prove that leading a vegan lifestyle does not require sacrificing taste in the name of ethics! That fresh cinnamon bun, or perfect slice of pie next to your damn good cup of coffee whilst watching Twin Peaks-is possible. Cupcakes topped with swirls of fluffy “buttercream”, are suddenly in reach. When you bring a batch of our treats along to a family get together, you will smile to yourself when you hear the words, “I can’t believe this is vegan! ”

Blue Rose Baking Co. is over the moon to provide Albertans with the delicious vegan options they’ve always deserved. As for everyone else- we look forward to winning you over with the yummiest baked goods you’ve ever had- that just happen to be egg and dairy-free!
