Tribute to the KING of Rock and Roll- Elvis Presley held every August in beautiful northern Alberta in the community of Westlock. Dates this year are Aug 28-30th, 2020
Blue Suede Music Festival Description
This 3 day Festival will held on August 25-27, 2017. It showcases Elvis Tribute Artists from all over Canada and the United States who come to pay tribute to Elvis Presley and to entertain Elvis fans from all over the world. The Blue Suede Music Festival is not a competition but rather a showcase where some of the best Elvis Tribute Artists in the business come to entertain you.
There are silent auctions of Elvis items, trivia contests, live auctions items, numerous vendors to shop and eat at, a beer gardens, a classic car show and much more! There is limited room for RV's so book online early at www. bluesuedemusicfestival.com
This is one family event you won't want to miss! ! Set in beautiful rural Alberta every August, this outdoor festival guarantees to please! This Festival is a charity event where 3 local area Food Banks and The Ripple Connection in Barrhead benefit. The low admission price plus your Food Bank donation helps so many people who may have a bit more month than money left at the end of the month.

We've got 50 RV reservations in the first 24 hours for Blue Suede 2019 next August!!!
Today is the day you can start registering your RVs for the 2019 festival! The RVs must be registered through the website. Once you are in the website just click on ‘RV and vendor info’ and you will find a link to the RV form there. Looking forward to seeing where all the RVs are coming from for next year! The Volunteer Appreciation party for Blue Suede last night was so much fun! 40 people came out for a night of fun, food and drink. We have many volunteers that don’t live around here or even in this province and I wish we could have them all here for this but the ones that could come had fun! We talked about the future of Blue Suede and where it would be held. Exciting things coming up- the future looks bright! THANK YOU all for making this charity event such a huge success every year!
Elvis fans who are also Rod Stewart fans!!! Don't miss this incredible show by Vic Vaga, one of the top Rod Stewart tribute artists in the business! He's coming from Vegas to St Albert Oct 5th and Busby Oct 6th!!! What a fun night out this will be and at the same time it will benefit the Eagles Club in St Albert and the Lions Club and the Busby Fish and Game. Ticket info is on the poster.

Wow, can't believe Blue Suede's 10th anniversary is now in the history books! This week has been a busy one with tying up all the loose ends and paying bills. I will start to post pics very soon-thank you to those who have posted some on their pages already. If you have any you want on here,please send them to me and I will post them here for all to see! Right now I just want to announce the Food Bank donations at the gate for the weekend- there was just under 4000 POUNDS of food and $1320 in cash. Huge thank you to all who donated to help our less fortunate. You all rock!!

Look what we’ve got for a live auction item this year at Blue Suede! This is a one-of-a-kind jacket, only one has been embroidered like this so you will own a very rare item! This will be auctioned off along with a few other items on Saturday afternoon, August 25th. Huge thanks to Gary Colby who picked up the jacket for me and donated the embroidery ❤️
I thought it would be interesting for Blue Suede fans to know where the money goes that is raised during each festival so here’s what all of you who come to Blue Suede do for the community. Some don’t realize how much the Busby community benefits from this and some still think the money goes into my pocket so here is a rough breakdown: Since 2011 $51,198 has been given to the four food banks that we support, over 26,000 pounds of food was collected at the gates along with o...ver $3000 in cash donations, over $50,000 was raised for the Busby Firefighters through the 50/50 draws they do (which helped them build the new fire hall), the school receives the recyclables (which Blue Suede pays the deposit on) for their hot lunch program which by now would be in the $1,000’s, the school received sausages and pancake mix for their hot lunch program, the Lions Club raised $5000 with their first raffle for a trip to Graceland and are currently doing another raffle which will net another $5000 (this money enables them to help other groups in the community) and the store and bar are super busy that weekend!! Expenses are around $50,000 to put this Festival on. After expenses are paid and enough held back to start up for next year the rest is given to the food banks and The Ripple Connection in Barrhead. Thank you all for coming each year to support this Festival and help the Food Banks! See y’all soon!!!

We’ve got some special 10th anniversary items for you! The tumblers (come in black or white) are $15 each and the coffee cups are $5 and come with free coffee! Both items are very limited in supply.
This is a reminder that a Food Bank donation is MANDATORY to get into Blue Suede. We keep our ticket prices ridiculously low so everyone can afford to come but a Food Bank donation is ALSO required. If you forget food, please be prepared to make a cash donation to one of the Food Bank reps in attendance. Here is a list of things they need the most:

FRIDAY: Gates will be open Friday afternoon at 10:00 AM for RV's to move in. The VIP RV parking AND overflow parking will be done on Thursday evening around 5 PM so those rigs don't get caught in the line up on Friday. Awesome show again this year. All of the performers did such a great job keeping us entertained all day Saturday. Al LeBlanc's Roy Orbison's sets blew me away again and Tyler Cody's "One Night With You" was epic.
A great time with great people, good food and fantastic music!
A great place to meet ETA's -- Trudy I am so blessed to have met you -- since I have been coming to your shows I have to say they are all great shows with great entertainers enjoy the fact you are always bringing new ETA's in an look forward to seeing your next show every year with more enthusiastic each time
