Blueberry Bluegrass Festival Description
The Blueberry Bluegrass and Country Music Festival, located in Stony Plain Alberta, just west of Edmonton, is Canada's biggest bluegrass festival. Some of the biggest names in country and bluegrass have graced this festivals stage. Such as: Marty Stuart, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Del McCoury, Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Claire Lynch and many others including some fine local talent. Blueberry is a supporter of local emerging talent. In 2017 we added two stages and indoor stage and a stage at the Pioneer Museum. The Venue has onsite reserved and un-reseerved camping available. Kids 16 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. A kids zone of games and crafts will be held on the saturday and sunday. Parking lot jamming almost always follows after concerts so bring your instruments to join in on the fun! Concessions are also available for daytime snacking. Myhre's Music has a booth at this festival so don't worry about forgetting those picks, tuners, or capos. Myhres also has some quality instruments on display. Performers will be selling their merchandise at the festival. ATM machine available on site. Hope to see all of your smiling faces at the festival! Soon!

This was my first year at Blueberry Bluegrass Festival. It was really well organised, with great live music and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy...well done everyone!
This is one of those events that so many of us yearn for: an event that is about the music. There is no hype or pretense here just good music and good people. Highly recommended if you like bluegrass and country music.
I just have to make a special point to say what a wonderful experience my band Grasstowne and I had at the festival this year! Kenny Mak & ALL the staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. There were some things that went on behind the scenes that really touched our hearts and we will forever leave a soft place in our hearts for this festival and the people running it. Be very proud of your festival and the folks running it. You all are the greatest!!!
I can not believe my luck. I've been lucky enough to be able to be at Blueberry Bluegrass festival for the 19th year in a row. The entertainment is always first class.
If you Show up early in the week before the festival you will find dozens of people scurrying around getting everything ready and all set up for the big day. It's an awesome thing to watch and see how much effort really does go into the festival.
I love to jam and it gets tougher when you do . All the great bands and all the great jams. How to get it all in before the end of the weekend is a fun problem to have.
If you happen to just like Bluegrass this is premium show at a great price. I can't wait to see what's in-store for next year.
