The Page is about providing a space for local businesses and community groups the opportunity to advertise their services and events . This falls within the mandate of the Mission statement. Past activities of the Bluffton and District Chamber of Commerce ( BDCC) have been to erect the Welcome to Bluffton signage on Hgwy 20 , campaign for a walkway to the school , promote local businesses in a colouring book and with pins for the public. As well as the ongoing upkeep of the historical landmark " Rock Site " ( since 1996 ) . The most recent activity was to replace the equipment and upgrade the Playground. ( 2015 ) The BDCC also donates an award each year to the Gr9 graduating class at the local school .
