Bmo Bank Of Montreal

Condescending and entitled attitude from their financial planner Peter Aelick. Requested that a large amount not roll back into a GIC, this never happened and I found out my money was locked in for another 3 year GIC.

I called Peter and before I finished describing that I want my money to go into my account and not in an investment I got major attitude!!!! This guy snapped and said I have 21 days to get it out before it locks in. Then all he said was "you got 21 days" no help, no understanding that I was upset my money would be locked in. Just a super huge attitude. I hung up, drove over, took my money out.

I will never do any real business with BMO after seeing what "Financial Planners" act like and clearly think of you and your money. Especially when it was over 200K.

Sh**t service!!!! Do not recommend anyone to even stop by!!!! you will ruin your whole day because of 1 person who doesnt want to work, but sending you to another branch on the matter which can be handled at any BMO. Why do i have to explain myself why i choose your branch????? Why do i have to look for arguments to be helped here????? You should be thankful that you have customers coming in. Hope someone will do something about this and will change 130th branch to better service.

Great place to bank but the traffic is frustrating on 130th trying to get in and out. Great people but wish there were more then 2 tills open when there are 7 people in line. Spent a lot of time here...

If I could give a No star review I would. The loan department is one of the most uninformed loan departments I have ever had the misfortune with do go to. In my 21 years of using the BMO.

They skipped vital steps on a refinancing of a mortgage, ran my credit score up with unneeded dings, Could not answer phone calls, leave messages at the times I said where ok to call at said time, ordered a BMO Home appraisal before Separation papers where even Drafted, and Sent to the Lawyers. Then called with attitude while I was at work not the time I told him many times. Too cuss me down for Cancelling the appointment. While I was at work.

DO NOT GO TO BMO 130th for a loan. I had awesome service at the sunridge BMO.

This is the only banking institution I've ever been to where the line up is out the door and they have staff chatting in the back, or smoking outside. I just watched two tellers up and leave with 16 people in here. We're down to two tellers.

33 mins, 5 employees standing around. I'm not sure how a bank works, but I've never seen one operated this way....
I'm also curious what everyone has to be so miserable about here, not a single smile to be seen, what a miserable place, as of today, I'll be using another branch for this establishment.

Btw, the staff 3 doors down, at the "other" bank have some of the funniest and engaging tellers I've met. hard pass on this place.
