Tried three of the appies!! Thankful the lovely lady said about the portion size of the mushrooms maybe a good idea to order half portion !! We had the Battered Mushrooms, malts n salts ( fish nuggets and chips homeade) and lorne sausage sliders!! Super tasty!!!!!!!! Hubby had tennants lager but I opt'd for Bobby's Brew!! To me taste's like a typical scottish lager shandy/tops! Delightful! And further more the band was super awesome. Great mixture of irish, new foundland and scottish celtic fare!! My only wee thing and just a wee niggle was the spelling! Its Laddies and Lassies!! Lol!! Will be returning for Celidh nights and when Im in need of my battered mushroom fix!!

This place is a jewel. Friendly, efficient staff, delicious food, a good line up of beer, dart boards, table games, etc. I travel halfway across Calgary to enjoy this place. Thanks Mike & Lynne. PS The haggis is delicious!

This is a great place to eat. I've tried quite a few things on the menu and all have been amazing. The staff is very friendly. Mike and Lynn are always around making sure everything is good. Another great thing is that kids can go in until 8pm. All the family really enjoys the food and the celtic music.

The Management and staff are awesome! Service is great and the food is fantastic, the wings are the best in Calgary. Great selection of beers and spirits. We are always made to feel very welcome. And they have Darts there!

The chips were great and are the best in town! The staff are so friendly and so kind and make you feel right at home. I would recommend to anyone that this is a great place to eat and hang out!

Still trying to convince them to bring back the blood pudding (which they still serve on special occasions, usually announced on their FB page). Fav pub in Calgary! Very good live music, too, and more often than most pubs in the local area!

just wanted to say i worked there for over a year the owners are great people and the pub is a great pub i would recommend this pub to anyone it is a very family orientated place and you are treated great there so everyone go there

Was there a couple a months ago with my 11 year old daughter for dinner. It was great. Decided to go back tonight. Well we were told after we sat down that minors were longer permitted. No sign on the door stating that. Very disappointed

What kind of bar anywhere in Canada would turn off the volume during third period of Game 7 involving the last-remaining Canadian NHL team (#winnipegjets) ... so a small crowd can play trivia instead of hockey fans watching the big screen?

Went there last night cuz i noticed on there menu you could get a gluten free burger with a gluten free bun... 20 mins after ordered the server tells me the kitchen has ran out of gluten free buns and my burger is cooked. so i felt obligated to pay for it.. as soon as an order is put in the kitchen staff and server should have informed me they had no gluten free buns not 2 minutes before the burger was to be served to me. dont think i would ever go back there.

I give this pub zero stars. I had that was this bad when I was about 5 or 6 years old. Places like this exist!?!?! I had the Friday special fish and chips. I’m from an island... worst version of fish I’ve ever had. The waitress was awesome about it and I asked for any burger just because I was hungry. What mistake. Like a bad girlfriend never expect it to get get better. The burger has worse than the fish. Three drinks later and paying for shit food I am now at A&W. Bobby’s Place is where Oscar the Grouch gets his trash can. Don’t eat there point blank.
