Boston Pizza

Coming from Ontario, and visit my daughters in Medicine Hate, one of our traditions, is to eat at an Boston Pizza as its one of our favorite places to eat.. When we 1st walked in, it wasn't the same experience I had here in Ontario, we waited for about 10 minutes, as we did see some empty tables, but bu looking it was a smaller place than I am used to,, Finally the waitress came up to us and asked if we been seated yet, as I stated we are waiting to be seated and would like a booth please... she walked us over the table that was just used by another family and she was clearing off the table, to get us seated,, I did ask for a kids menu for my youngest daughter as she stated to ask how old she was, as what my daughter wanted but refused us that menu, instead of making something bad out of a situation, we just wanted to have our Father daughter time, and just ordered what she wanted as she knows the menu. When the waitress came to take our order, as I allow my girls to order as what they wanted as it was our time, the main issue I had with the waitress, was when it was my youngest order, she mentioned that my youngest that we be getting an adult size not kids size.. as Looked at her, and stated. you are telling us that we need to only have an adult size order and deprive my youngest from the kids menu to get her food and her ice cream, as she stated its the rules of the restaurant. I felt like wow, things are different here in Alberta than it is in Ontario, I accepted it as it is...

Well on my last day I visited a new one on Redcliff Alberta as it was our last dinner together and the girls wanted Boston Pizza as I wouldn't deprive them and my experience there was a night and day situation, My daughters asked for the kids menu and there was no issues, and ended my weekend with my daughters on a high note and will be returning this Boston Pizza.

So my question is why is there 2 different rules for kids menu in Alberta, as I know my chance ever to return this Boston Pizza, will be slimmed

but if the food wasn't to our liking and cooked to our satisfaction, i would have giving a 1 star,,,

Service was good nothing special. The servers and manager were very loud and were talking about other workers which I think is very in professional. Food was really good well prepared and presentation was great.

Great service. A fairly plain-looking location.

Wings weren't cooked throughly, mini cheeseburger sliders had no cheese, overall the worst meal I have ever had at Boston Pizza. Be a while before or if I go back.

Took the kids and grand kids tonight for pizza. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, waited 55 minutes- still no appetizers. We then asked and was told food would be another 35 minutes. Kids could not wait- we had to leave and go elsewhere. Oh, and bathrooms were disgusting. I am not going back to Boston any time soon - 2 hour waits to eat pizza in a dirty over priced resteraunt is unacceptable.

Food was very good though a tad slow, staff was helpful and courteous.

Terrible service,food mediocre, drinks good.

Ordered the roasted beat salad and found a dead beatle half way trough my salad so clearly the lettuce was not rinsed properly! And they messed up on our appetizer we ordered also had 3 different servers was not a good experience will not be going back!

Ordered food to pick up. Went at the appropriate time and sat and waited for over 45 minutes. Staff did not check on me or let me know how much longer it would take.

Good food, staff friendly, slow service from kitchen though

Ordered the spicy perogy cactus cut nachos, and was very underwhelmed. The cactus cut chips themselves were terrific and would likely order again, but the toppings were disgusting. Over priced for the quality of the food, and servers weren't very attentive.

Service was prompt, food was good, and the activity books for the kids were a big plus. Over all pleased. I'll be back.

Ordered nachos for 1 of the kids. All they wanted was cheese on it and BP would not adjust price as it had none of toppings on it so i figured i would share with but BP would not make with half cheese and half loaded. All in all I spent over $14 for just 1 kid to have nachos with a bit of cheese melted on top. Also had old food all over wall and picture beside our booth we had to eat at. Wish we went somewhere else.
