What a treat to have BP's in Athabasca! My wife and I go quite often with our friends and family and the food has consistently been excellent! Service has always been good, clean restaurant, never had a complaint. What a great addition to Athabasaca. Well done!

We have been to this establishment many of times since they open great service food and drinks. This WAS the first time we ever thought the service had issues (the appies came out only seconds before meals, my wife never got asked if she wanted a 2nd drink. The bill took forever to receive in saying that we have always had really good service and food in our privious experience at this establishment. Sure it was a one out of the ordinary.

The assistant manager was not friendly and then still proceed to bill us for the drink I couldn't even try to choke down.

My child got food poisoning here a week ago. The meals came out cold and we were not offered another drink even though we were all done our drinks before the meals arrived. Not even the manager on at that time offered is a drink when she came to our table. If I could give no stars I would. We have tried this location a few time and the service and the food gets worse each time we go. Will not be back.

I phoned and let it ring 11 times waited a few minutes and called it back let it ring 28 times.I take it they have enough customers that they don't have to answer the phones

I love going to BPs especially the lounge however IвАЩm concerned that the management at this location doesnвАЩt train, or worse yet doesnвАЩt know how to train their servers.



First example is the young server my wife and I had for our anniversary in July. Completely botched from start to finish...only two of us to serve and we waited several minutes at the door (without so much as a greeting from the half dozen people that looked at us), messed up my drink order and claimed it was the bartenders fault, appetizers and dinner come out at same time, my meal wasnвАЩt prepared correctly.



Second example was last evening. We had 13 people come into the lounge after work for a hockey pool. I was in alone at first and a young server came and asked if вАШit was only myself tonight?вАЩ When I mentioned that there would be a group of us she rushed back behind the bar (without taking my drink order) and began speaking to another server. We ended up being served by someone else who did a reasonably good job....her shift ended part way through so the last hour and a half of our time there was spent with empty drinks more often than full ones....the ones that did get refilled were due to one of us going up and asking for someone to come take our order.



All these servers lost out considerably on tips because they failed to properly serve us....my bill could easily have doubled had they come around in a timely manner.



I worked as a service person in bars and restaurants during my early working life so consider myself knowledgeable of and quite fussy about what constitutes proper food service. I tended to have patience with the staff in this location as it is new however after the amount of time which has passed they should have gotten their рЯТ© together by now.

For my sisters 18 birthday we tried to make it a nice occasion. It's not like we all just showed up either. Reservations had been made. We waited in the front lobby for 15 minutes with out even being seen. My mom showed up early with balloons thank God beacuse they probably would not have had a clue as to what was going on. The food service was horrible. It took for ever a party of eight patrons and it took 3 hours for us to go through dinner appetizers took and hour and food took an hour and fifteen minutes! Our first appetizer was burn to a crisp the server who told us it was her first day told me that is how they are all served. Although she did grab us another order the second one was burnt even further to a crisp. The food for mains came out even worse. A bacon cheese burger with mashed potatoes served with frozen butter. A burnt royal pizza , a perogy pizza that was under cooked and missing ingredients. And the bacon pizza burger that didn't have bacon. Drinks failed to arrive, alcohol for my sisters birthday drinks that no one knew how to make. Although she did at least get a birthday shot. This entire time the manager could not be bothered to apologize or come to our table to see what the problem was. Thank you Boston Pizza Athabasca for giving my little sister a failed birthday dinner. Oh my wife and I made a two hour drive from Edmonton for this as well. Thank you for the lousy food under par management. I'm thankful that at least we had good company that evening.

I sent an email with my complaint before posting here, but havenвАЩt heard anything from them.

Very disappointed!!!

So we waited forever for any type of service. Then finally we a sever approaches us to take our drink orders. I had order the tiki bowl just to receive it half full and it tasted like cough syrup. To top it all off we got slightly warm food and it honestly tasted better cold when we got home. Not please with the service or food and it's outrageously priced. The assistant manager was not friendly and then still proceed to bill us for the drink I couldn't even try to choke down.

Not even worth 1 star!!! All around poor service!!! Not at all recommended!!

My child got food poisoning here a week ago. The meals came out cold and we were not offered another drink even though we were all done our drinks before the meals arrived. Not even the manager on at that time offered is a drink when she came to our table. If I could give no stars I would. We have tried this location a few time and the service and the food gets worse each time we go. Will not be back.

I phoned and let it ring 11 times waited a few minutes and called it back let it ring 28 times.I take it they have enough customers that they don't have to answer the phones

I love going to BPs especially the lounge however IвАЩm concerned that the management at this location doesnвАЩt train, or worse yet doesnвАЩt know how to train their servers.



First example is the young server my wife and I had for our anniversary in July. Completely botched from start to finish...only two of us to serve and we waited several minutes at the door (without so much as a greeting from the half dozen people that looked at us), messed up my drink order and claimed it was the bartenders fault, appetizers and dinner come out at same time, my meal wasnвАЩt prepared correctly.



Second example was last evening. We had 13 people come into the lounge after work for a hockey pool. I was in alone at first and a young server came and asked if вАШit was only myself tonight?вАЩ When I mentioned that there would be a group of us she rushed back behind the bar (without taking my drink order) and began speaking to another server. We ended up being served by someone else who did a reasonably good job....her shift ended part way through so the last hour and a half of our time there was spent with empty drinks more often than full ones....the ones that did get refilled were due to one of us going up and asking for someone to come take our order.



All these servers lost out considerably on tips because they failed to properly serve us....my bill could easily have doubled had they come around in a timely manner.



I worked as a service person in bars and restaurants during my early working life so consider myself knowledgeable of and quite fussy about what constitutes proper food service. I tended to have patience with the staff in this location as it is new however after the amount of time which has passed they should have gotten their рЯТ© together by now.

For my sisters 18 birthday we tried to make it a nice occasion. It's not like we all just showed up either. Reservations had been made. We waited in the front lobby for 15 minutes with out even being seen. My mom showed up early with balloons thank God beacuse they probably would not have had a clue as to what was going on. The food service was horrible. It took for ever a party of eight patrons and it took 3 hours for us to go through dinner appetizers took and hour and food took an hour and fifteen minutes! Our first appetizer was burn to a crisp the server who told us it was her first day told me that is how they are all served. Although she did grab us another order the second one was burnt even further to a crisp. The food for mains came out even worse. A bacon cheese burger with mashed potatoes served with frozen butter. A burnt royal pizza , a perogy pizza that was under cooked and missing ingredients. And the bacon pizza burger that didn't have bacon. Drinks failed to arrive, alcohol for my sisters birthday drinks that no one knew how to make. Although she did at least get a birthday shot. This entire time the manager could not be bothered to apologize or come to our table to see what the problem was. Thank you Boston Pizza Athabasca for giving my little sister a failed birthday dinner. Oh my wife and I made a two hour drive from Edmonton for this as well. Thank you for the lousy food under par management. I'm thankful that at least we had good company that evening.
