Join us for a Glow Party on the water with DJ Rich Glow! Wear white, wear glow sticks, and wear a smile! $10 per person gets you 30 minutes on the water in a paddle boat, canoe, or kayak, and a glow necklace or bracelet! Free popcorn inside the pavilion while supplies last!

What a great place for everyone to find something fun to do! I especially love the board games room! $5 to hang out with rad people, play as many games as you want, with so many to choose from, super friendly and helpful staff -- why wouldn't you want to check it out?!

We go to Bower Ponds quite regularly. The staff are awesome, always friendly and provide excellent service. A variety of items on their menu provides a good choice to pick from. They are always adding new items, so never know what might pop up on the menu! It is always nice to watch the families getting out and enjoying all the activities that are available there for them.

We always walk the trails at bower ponds it's beautiful. Yesterday they had free paddle boats and it was a great experience staff were friendly and it was a nice way to take in the beauty of bower ponds from a different aspect. Way to go bower ponds for offering this as a free service for the day !!

Was a super fun time with great tunes! I felt like I was at a school dance but got to skate to the music instead!

This is a true gem of central Alberta, I have so many amazing memories at bower ponds growing up in red deer. As of late the community has only been improved and expanded due to awesome leadership and management. The games league is awesome, chedda heads is awesome. It's just a great place overall. I highly recommend everyone coming through stop by and check it out, winter or summer!! ���

The best public park in Red Deer. Bower Ponds Recreation have made a big difference in the atmosphere at bower ponds. From a beautiful skate, or paddle boat on the pond, to playing board games in the games room (which has over 200 games to choose from), or simply enjoying Chedda' Heads gourmet grilled cheese and Pond Doggies Hot Dogs on location, bower ponds has become a must visit in Red Deer. Bower Ponds is fun for the whole family.

Super solid, hands-on family business feel. Whether you're using the games room & one of the senior staff is right in there with you laughing & guiding you in some otherwise confusing game, or perhaps you've decided to take out a paddleboat in the pond, or simply take in the natural beauty as you walk along the well-kept pathways. Simply gorgeous, & my personal favorite location in Red Deer.

One of my favourite gems in Red Deer! This summer my girl friend and I went paddle boating and the staff were so helpful... everything from finding us the right size life jacket to helping us in and out of the paddle boat. The atmosphere is always welcoming and I love the changes to the cafe. And every time I go to the Games Room I always have a blast! Your park is iconic piece of Red Deer - thanks for being so great!

Fantastic, I had to change a party venue on short notice and these guys went above and beyond to accommodate us. All the kids had a great time, thanks so much.

Bower ponds is an incredible place! I’ve been going there for years ever since being a kid. Definitely a staple of the community that everyone should visit. Even though our family doesn’t live in town anymore, we look forward to whenever we come back in town to visit this amazing place.

Bower Ponds Recreation has done something truly amazing they've made the best park in Red Deer spectacular. They constant commitment to making everything top notch shows from the events in the summer, the vastly improved menu, friendly staff and increasingly popular games room. My family ends up there at least once a week and yours should too!

As a young adult moving to Red Deer half a year ago, Bower Ponds has been the go to place. I have build an amazing community of friends that laugh/ compete and have a good time over a board game or comedy night. The staff are amazing they are very knowledgeable about most things to the board games to skating to the food, and if they don't they will try every effort to give you the answer the next time you come and make you feel at home.

My boyfriend and I loved going to bower ponds but I will ever go back. We went skating yesterday and there was an emergency and the staff there did absolutely nothing he was full of blood and no one helped. I know we should skate at your own risk but for the staff to nothing was shocking. We went inside and the person working in the kitchen told me that there was a first aid and a guy named Gary in the back. We went back there and there was nothing. I went back to the kitchen asking if there was a first aid kit and he said yea in the back and I told him there wasn't and there should be one for the kitchen to use. I cannot believe that no one bothered to help. I am lucky that I am certified first aid and got the help he needed and we went to emergency. I am very disappointed. I will be phoning as well. P.s Thank you to the only person that helped and gave us the paper towel.
