Bowmont Park Fenced Off-Leash Area

Great patk, though it may seem misleading when arriving. There are paths that the dogs have to be leashed on, but off the paths is free game with plenty of shallow water for the dogs to play in. Also just a great spot to enjoy the day, if you do or don't have dogs.

Fenced is a bit misleading, but worry not, there are acres of open space to enjoy with your canine counterpart.

This is a wonderful place to get outside and enjoy the river and some hillside hiking.

There are a few locations of multi-use crossover that require the responsible dog owner to leash up for a quick moment, but the majority of Bowmont is off-leash friendly.

There's plenty for the kids to explore and nice places to break for a snack and look out at the city.

It's neat to watch the train rumble past on the bridge while you enjoy the rocky riverside.

An absolute must for those looking for a new spot to get out and enjoy the great outdoors within the city's limits, dog or not.
