Once again the Bowness Lions will be holding their Craft and Bake Sale at the Bowness Scout and Lions Hall at 8551 Bowness Road NW. this is a very diverse sale with many items for sale.

Sidewinder is at the Legion tonight and Mr. Jim Baxter is there Saturday 7pm start both nights. Come on out and wish Deb a happy retirement from Bar tending at the 238 Legion. This is her last night. Good Luck Deb.
Open House and All Ages Jam at the Bowness Legion today. Legion is open to the Public at 11 am and the All Ages Jam hosted by the RAD BROTHERS will go from 1 to 4. Bring the who;e family and enjoy some games and food and beverage as well as some great music with great friends

There is going to be an ALL AGES JAM from 1 pm to 4 pm Hosted by the talented RAD BROTHERS BAND. Please bring out all your young musician friends and let them showcase thir talents for you.

What a great place to have my Dad's birthday he really enjoyed being around his friends
We have a great time here all the time and the food is fabulous and company is great
This is the best legion you could possibly come to, great staff, great food and awesome live music
The Hospitality and good fun go without saying. I really enjoyed my visit to Calgary 238. Hope you will come to visit us at Saskatoon branch 63. The meat draws, Nevada's and 50/50 draws were great fun. (so was the food. ) I highly recommend you stop in for a cool one and have some fun. Special thanks to Edna, Gus and Jim

I had gone down for the Stampede Bowness Legion Pancake Breakfast and ended up volunteering to help with their final Steak BBQ. GREAT ENTERTAINMENT the whole entire day. Well done Entertainment Committee.. The music was so good though out your Stampede event. The Decorating was so well done. The award you won from the 2017 committee was certainly well deserved. A great big Yahoo to all the volunteers and Committee folks at the Bowness Legion who worked extremely hard to make sure all the events for the Stampede period went so well. Great job Executive and Bar staff.
Have always enjoyed coming to this Legion, great staff, wonderful people... music is great.. all around fun place to come to.
Had a blast the 238 it is like the tv show cheers everyone knows everyone and if you don't you feel like family by the time you leave!!
Had a awesome Remembrance Day 2016...Stayed for the evening and had a great time. Live music was great too!
Friendly atmosphere; did not feel out of place. A smaller building, but that gives it its ambiance.
Members seemed to be a mixed demographic; from young adults to seasoned members...
Transferred my membership to #238 last year and don't regret it in the least!
Great place to listen to good local music on a Friday and Saturday night. Awesome food and drink prices and of course the people are always friendly. I highly recommend The #238 Bowness Legion
Great place to enjoy a drink, food, music and of course conversation with old friends and new friends as well. Great atmosphere and friendly folks.
Bowness Legion is top notch for food, music and people!
Always a wonderful, warm crowd for the Remeberance Day dance outs. The dancers love to perform and it is our way of honouring those who fought and sacrificed for the freedoms we have today.
Bowness Legion is a really good room to play - they like a lot of Rock and they want you to turn it up ( You don't hear that in many Legions ) Hoorah !
Always great fun at the 238. Try it sometime! You will enjoy yourself!
