One of the most popular parks in Calgary. In the summer you can rent a canoe or paddle boat and enjoy the lagoon and in the winter you can strap on your skates and enjoy a wonderful time with family. Kids will love the mini train that loops the park in the summertime and the massive playground with the coolest climbing apparatus.

Great park in the city. Wading pool was a nice addition this summer. The train is over priced for what it is. Great paths and trails to walk along, loads of picnic areas and barbecue and fire pits. Nice large playground that is relatively new as well. We spend lots of time over there in the summer.

I hadn't visited in so long and this was such a lovely place to come back to and see the changes. The train wasn't in operation (might have been too late in the season) but the boat rental and dock looked soooooo nice! It was busy on a Saturday morning, but I found parking no problem and the kids and families all looked really happy. I plan to come back to try the cafe. There were were surprisingly a lot of families that were celebrating birthdays at various picnic tables so looks like it's a popular place to have your birthday celebration! Can't wait to try the skating in winter.

This is my absolute favorite place in Calgary. It is so peaceful and beautiful here. Feeding the ducks and Canadian Geese was awesome, the geese take bread right out of your fingers. Great place to picnic, relax and have some fun with the family. I cannot wait to come back!!

The area has been renovated as a result of the 2013 flood.
I miss the road that went around the big field in the middle. I liked going to park farther as I always got a spot. It was a great place to park and walk around using the whole pathway on both sides of the Bow river.

Over the years the place for free public skating has changed. Still has a fire in the middle but now a better updated building.

Great park for any occasion. BBQs and big shelters for cooking. Firepits and ice skating/boating. Nice paths. The restaurant is very expensive. The coffee shop is reasonable. There is no other food places besides this. Nice walking paths and you can still ride the miniature train.

Beautiful new renovations after the flood. Parking is centralized which make it feel much safer walking along the paved paths. Lots of playgrounds and picnic areas. Awesome new cafe with wine and great food

What can I say about this park that hasn't been said already? It's so nice, that you have to get there early to find a parking spot. Alternatively, pack light and take the #1 bus to it's front step. Enjoy.

Beautiful visit with the grandson... lots of people on a Sunday, still had ice cream upon entry and leaving the park. Enjoy quick picnic, the shoreline and the kids play station... although overrun with kids. Would like to return sometime soon
