I love insurance. As much as I love this industry, many do not feel the same. My calling is about educating and creating understanding for my client's keen minds

I've been in the industry for almost two years. I hung up my Instrumentation coveralls and made the drastic change into financial services.

I began with a captive agent company that specializes in hospitalization and disability coverage. I learned a lot fast going door to door and cold calling prospects from Drayton valley to Fort McMurray. My big takeaway was that I what I offered, wasn't the best for everyone. In my network, I was introduced to the world of being an INDEPENDENT BROKER. This grew my repertoire in three ways:

1. My tool kit grew, where I could search for a solution between 21 different carriers

2. My knowledge and context exploded, as I was able to pull know-how from very intelligent problem solvers

3. I could MOD my insurance services to really specialize and truly upgrade my vehicles to serve the client, as I was not restricted to one companies specialty, I can use ALL of everyones specialty

Are all of your mods built by Dodge? lights? tires? running boards? trailer hitch? windshield wipers?
-No, And your finances shouldn't be either! !

Continuing with the Flexibility of being and INDEPENDENT BROKER I am able to specialize or focus my energy in learning solutions for particular groups. If you can skate you can speed skate, figure skate, hockey skate, fun skate and downhill skate. Lots of skaters, and many would have no problem jumping from one to the next and participating, but the pros pick one and get really good at it. I focused on this one because I was never exposed to to these "vehicles" when I needed it most. The industry is neglecting thousands of business owners and families.
