The Willowbrook Kindergarten School was abandoned many years ago due to kids mysteriously disappearing. No one knows why it hasn’t been torn down or sold over the years. It has now become a popular site for teenagers to sneak into for thrills and excitement.
You and your friends lost a bet and were dared to spend the weekend at the abandoned school by yourselves. Everything seemed normal the first night, you had some fun exploring the site and went to sleep early. However when you woke up, you found yourselves inside a different building with all the exits locked tight.

So much fun. Went with a couple of friends. We laughed and screamed. Totally worth the price. Would do it again. The staff was great and helpful.

So much fun! Definitely something fun with the friends and isn't your typical night out.

Our group of 3 did Detention & had a blast! It was challenging but with the help of a few hints we were able to solve the room! We had so much fun, we plan to go back & do another room! The staff was friendly!

One of the most creative escape rooms we have been too! The coolest puzzles and special effects.

My son and I had a great time. The staff were more than generous and helpful to us. We will go back, maybe an easier room though LOL

It was a really good experience all around, the staff were friendly and helpful with hints, the puzzles were definately making us rack our brains, some points we didn't have a clue how to continue BUT again the staff helped with the hints without letting too much go. After we were done we wanted to go for another and are planning to return.

Had such a great time! The two staff working thought were so friendly and helpful. We did the room Anna and with the help of hints managed to figure it out. The staff really helped the experience with their kindness � thumbs up And will definitely go back!!!!!

We challenged "The Ark" (a MUST PLAY!), a phenomenally designed room that sucked us into the science fiction setting immediately.

And this 'Hard' game pressed us, demanding maximum teamwork and communication.

It was a total rush for me and my family!



Cannot wait to take on more Breakout experiences ASAP!

Absolutely awesome place! Did the Annabelle room with my younger sister and brother and it was so funny! Definitely had some jumps happening lol �

Went with friends for a surprise birthday party for my hubby ... was awesome experience ... we would totally do it again!

Played Anna with a group of 4 - gameplay and story were great but the room looked pretty worn and some props were damaged which took away from the overall immersion.

Found that the rooms were too easy when a group of six people did them. Still lots of fun, but prefer more of a challenge.

When I got to the location I wasn't overly impressed. Their front room is quite congested when you have more than 1 group showing up for their booked game.



The rooms themselves are awesome.. very well thought out.. great props and the best rooms I've seen yet.



The props are a little faulty in my opinion and the staff are more concerned with talking to one another than they are about doing their job... I range the buzzer for help 3 times and wasted 5 min before someone came to help..



The puzzles themselves are overly vague. I understand this is the point but (without giving away the game) some of the clues you're supposed to guess are quite farfetched and show no indication to lead you toward the answer. It was like being put in West Edmonton Mall blindfolded and you have to find the shoe store... but they don't give you any hints as to which one or any thing that would help with relation...

Even tho my experience wasn't the greatest the rooms are worth the trip hands down.

We just did “diamond heist” last night and it was a waste of money. The idea is good but it was poorly executed. We had so many malfunctions and things not working. We had the staff in 3 times to try to fix or replace them. It really took the excitement out of the whole experience.

We have done a few rooms at Break Out over the course of a year and a half and have been Consistently disappointed in all of our experiences.



We did Detention yesterday and we able to break out of the room without completing half of the puzzles. How is this even possible?



We asked for a hint and the girl, without even asking how far we had gotten or what we were working on, gave us a hint that was too far ahead of where we actually were. So it caused us to bypass a bunch of puzzles.





The female staff member was of absolutely no help in explaining how this was possible and quite literally walked away when we asked for an explanation.



They also weren't able to tell us our escape time either, as if they weren't keeping track in the first place. When we escaped, no one even noticed. We waited around for 10 minutes for someone to come. Rang the hint doorbell twice.

Our booking was for 5:30 PM. We managed to escape, wait 10 to 15 minutes for an explanation, get our coats, leave drive home and we were on our door step shortly after 6:30 PM. That goes to show that we must have escaped within 20 or 25 minutes.



Even though we escaped, We didn't feel successful or happy at all. We felt ripped off.



Something has happened every time we have done a room at a Break Out facility.



We thought we would give it a second chance after a year of not going there. To see if it had improved and it has not. We have escaped for many, many different places in Edmonton and Break Out is the only one that is consistently bad and disappointing.



I would do my research before paying to go there. There are many escape rooms in Edmonton that far exceed in effects, service, professionalism etc.
