took my son and his friends here and they all loved it. the staff was very friendly and wasnt to expensive i tried it being a old lady and it was pretty cool i hope to be back and my son and friends are 18

User

What a GREAT time :D. The hour is absolutely worth the price. Great location, kind operators, and a ton of fun. Absolutely immersive, you forget you're standing in a black cubicle until someone taps your shoulder an hour later. And you might wonder if an hour is really enough - for your first time, it is. You Will get tired. I found playing Audiosurf and flailing around, I was happy to sit down after an hour. I Cannot wait to go back.

User

Today I was a Jedi in training with not one, but two light sabres. I took a stroll across the solar system, defended my castle from barbarians with a bow and arrows, traveled the world and dissected a digital human body... I can't wait to return :)

User

Recommend it for teen birthdays, fun, reasonable price, worth it.

User

Overall I had an awesome experience at Breakout VR. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and of course the VR itself was so much fun! Great value too! I look forward to my next visit.

User

Had so much fun playing Arizona Sunshine. Travis was awesome to help out us 'old folks'.

User

First VR in Edmonton. Super fun to play!!!! Totally recommend this place!!!

User

Amazing place & great people! Recommend this place for sure.

User

So much fun! 1st time experiencing VR and I definitely plan to check this venue out again! They mentioned that they are adding more types of interfaces and that sounds exciting.

User

I had a great time playing with a Vive for an hour with a few friends. I will definitely go again. There could be more games, but that will come in time. One thing I think could be improved is the group experience, VR is very isolating, there needs to be better interaction within a group. My suggestion would be to give the option to be connected by teamspeak or a similar program so people can better share the experience and setup multi-player games, or just help less tech savvy friends through the menus. Overall a good time.

User

LOTS of fun, but the new jump to $25/hr from $15, to me seems a bit too steep to want to come back

We just had the worst date night experience.

We made reservations days ago and were excited to try it out. We got set up and put in to training, but some of the equipment wasn't working. We got asked to wait but play the training, so we did. Eventually someone came back and we mentioned that it still wasn't working and asked what games were multiplayer and how so we play them. We got told to "just play this one and I'll be back". 15 minutes later someone came back when AGAIN we told them it wasn't working. The answer was "oh. We will be back"

We got fed up and took the gear off and got ready to leave. We waited for a while at the front then finally someone came back and asked "oh. We're you in here already?" We told him we were too mad to continue and wanted to pay and leave. He asked why. We explained the above and he then told us to "chill out" because they had a full house.

I asked why they filled it so full if he couldn't handle it. He whispered "we had walk ins" - which is real nice because a) we had reservations. b ) since our equipment wasn't working we could hear that their "too busy" consisted of nicely explaining game options and guiding people that got there after us through levels.

The trainee then told us that our stalls hadn't been working all day. And they knew that.

He offered us a discount, the trainee apologized and told us it was on them and we left and will NOT be back. The main employee needs to learn customer service from his trainee because being told to chill out when we stood with goggles on for almost an hour to get help really isn't cool.
