I've been a loyal Brinkhaus customer for the past +/- 15 years...and for good reason. They stock an amazing selection of timepieces (Rolex, Panerai, IWC, Patek, Cartier) and their service is second to none. Jim Dawes is personable, knowledgable and fair...I always walk out of the store feeling well looked after. If you are in the market for a high-end timepiece, Brinkhaus should most definitely be on your radar.

my experience with Thomas Watson was quite pleasant. He offered good services, especially I got around 15% discount after tax on the model. Where at Birks when I asked if I can get the same discount the answer was impossible. Highly recommending Thomas if you want a good watch.

Do not buy a watch here unless you get at least 20% off all Rolex products. These guys are snobs and think they have something nobody else does. Go to GemOro Edmonton. There service is way better as well as there discounts. Time for Brinkhaus to get rid of the old school and in with the new.

I do not write reviews often but I have to say I was extremely disappointed, and honestly quite surprised by my service here. I was looking for a specific model of Rolex that is rather difficult to acquire, and my sales associate simply said "sorry that'll take 6 weeks to get in, is there anything else I can help you with." There's was no attempt to sit down and discuss what I wanted, why, perhaps see if they could expedite the process - she perhaps looked at me because of my age not giving me a second thought. When I was informed they did not have the piece, I tried to walk around and view some other brands, models, and the associate simply stared at me every step I walked through the store. The next day I drove 6 hours round trip to Edmonton, had exceptional service, and went home with my new Rolex. I wish I could have supported a local business/store but I did not feel comfortable with how I was treated.

Brinkhaus is a model of how the watch shopping experience should be. No pressure, no snobbery, excellent customer service and fair pricing.

The only authorized retailer of Patek in Alberta. Staff is nice and did not pressure the sale (they know these watches sell themselves). Very informative and patient. Even offered us water and tea while going through some products with us.
