Monday morning, Tyler will walk through the front door of his southwest #Calgary elementary school. He will be excited to see his friends at recess, and to complete his art project. But most of all, Tyler is looking forward to lunch.
Tyler didn't have much to eat this weekend - his family is struggling, and they've tapped out other resources. Some days, there just isn't a lot of food at home.
Tyler will have a healthy lunch at school on Monday because people like you have do...nated to make sure that lunch is available for any kid who needs it in our city.

“Thank you for the lunches. If this program did not exist, no one would get food but you came along and stopped the hunger and you made our school full. You made all this possible and now all our classmates came up with ideas to make our community a better place.” – Jeremy, Grade 4
We begin this new school year now impacting 4,400 kids each day in 220 schools in Calgary. Feeding and caring for all these children is a team effort and we have our incredible #BB4CK community to thank. You take action to ensure no child in our city feels the pangs of hunger at lunchtime. Through your contributions of time, talent, and funds you provide so much more than just lunch. You are changing lives. Thank you for being part of this community.

You can become a superhero. Slay hunger pains. Take down the evils of growling stomachs. Fill empty bellies.
Your superpower? It’s not leaping tall buildings or flipping cars. Your superpower is filling empty stomachs every day. Your superpower is giving kids a chance to focus on their school work instead of their growling tummies.
Use your superpowers today. Join the league of Hunger Heroes who are erasing hunger for 4,200 kids every day in our city. Make a monthly donation ...to feed a hungry kid.
The #HungerHeroes have a goal – to feed 1,000 hungry kids every single school day for the whole school year through monthly gifts.
We’ve made it simple – visit the link below to select a recurring gift and choose how much you’ll give each month, and it will be automatically charged to you. Every month, you’ll automatically feed a hungry kid in Calgary.
Superpower, activated.
