We are pleased to announce we now are offering more than just our fan favourite fresh squeezed OJ! We also have mango, passion fruit and guava juice available. Add some prosseco for a unique twist on our mimosa's.

July's feature waffle is the Irish Sundae stop in and give it a try.

Being open in the evening is simply not working. After three years and a ton of effort, the vast majority of our guests are still daytime visitors. When we cam up with the concept for Buttermilk we loved the idea of eating waffles for breakfast AND for dinner. We loved it so much that we spent a bunch of money on giant illuminated letters to tell the whole world this (hence "Day + Night"). But from the beginning, it was hard to get customers in the doors after 3pm. Movie nigh...ts, game nights, paint nights, we tried many things to create an evening vibe, but it just didn't translate to a steady flow of customers. probably because breakfast-for-dinner is a pretty niche market. As we manoeuvre through these skinny times, we have to stick with what works. So, Buttermilk will be focussing on the heart of our business, which is our bumpin' breakfast and brunch trade.
BUT! We will be adding some things to the permanent menu, NAMELY: Chicken and Waffles is now available 7 days a week!!! So there is a silver lining. Thanks to all of our incredible customers who came out and made all those evenings special and there were some special ones indeed . Even the incredibly awkward Dr. Dre Listening Party. Note to self: not all ideas are good ideas. Love to all our wonderful fans xoxo

Evenings at Buttermilk are in full effect! We kick off Wednesday with a FREE board games night. Thursdays is Paint Night. $10 gets you all you need to cozy up with a glass of bubbly and some friends and paint some mason jars. Fridays we will playing comedies all summer. Movies start around 8PM. Chicken and Waffles will be available every evening!

We now have waffles every weekend once a week. Can build your own so will never run out of combinations!

Waffles were amazing, service was SO good, and we got to play 2 high stakes rounds of Uno - what more could you want?! We will absolutely be back on a regular basis �

The waffles were simply amazing. Got the plain buttermilk ones. Should have got the two waffles

The cost was inexpensive that I thought they undercharged us and my cinnamon bun waffle was so good I almost licked the plate!

Mmm. There is a reason there is a whole restaurant dedicated to waffles. Buttermilk is consistently good and they support all the best of Calgary for beers, ice creams, coffees, etc. �

Loved the waffles with different toppings and flavours👍 Never to miss this when you are in Calgary❤️

It's awesome! My friends and I love the movie nights, but even when it's not a movie night it's one of our favourite spots to meet up. Also whoever comes up with the waffle combinations is simply a genius.

Great service and sublime lemon curd waffles. Friendly, warm and a contemporary space. Movies, craft nights and interesting food. I'll be back for more.

Excellent quality, tasty options and the service was friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and a great environment.

Came here awhile back with my two friends and I must say I loved it! The orange juice is literally made in front of you (which was super cool) and the waffles were sooooo good def recommend

Amazing service, heavenly food, adorable atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone with taste buds.

Delicious. Not inexpensive, but worth it. They have recently added more seating space. My favorite is the Ruben. My biggest complaints would be their lack of drink options (they only have orange based juice and coffee), and the fact that there is often a large lineup. They could probably open a little earlier as well.

The Hollindaise sauce was a little runny, and the eggs were poached hard instead of soft. Won't do that one again. Would be interested to try the Green Eggs and Ham Waffles. That sriacha mayo looked yummy!

Loved the food and the old hours , now i can not go due to it being only open to 3pm :(

Went on Dec 30th. Wife orders ginger-nog and peppermint chocolate waffles for us.

Host- the seasonal waffles are only available in December.

Wife- ummmm (thinking in her head there are still 2 days left in December), does that mean you don't have them?
