Cactus Club Cafe

Went here on a late Thursday night & sat in the lounge. we waited about 10 minutes to meet our server, for her to not even introduce herself or create any kind of genuine conversation. Very seldom saw our server at all, food was great - but she never stopped at our table until it was time to get our bill. Waited too long to be able to pay, so we went up to the bar to pay. The lady who was bar tending was MUCH nicer than our server was in that few minutes it took to take our payment. I honestly wish we sat at the bar, as she would've given us much better service.

Our server was just not genuine at all, and didn't seem to want to talk to us at all. Being busy couldn't have been an excuse either, as it was practically empty when we went in.

Other than that, food was amazing. Thanks to the nice bartender, she was the only memorable part of the whole experience.

What a nice night out with my dear friend. We were actually just looking for dessert and we chose this restaurant as it has a white chocolate cheesecake at their menu. It's good just the white chocolate was not strong enough. Well, after The Cheesecake Cafe at Northland Mall was closed, it's hard to find good cheesecake in the north area. The chocolate lava cake had rice chocolate taste but the the molten effect was not that visible. Good match with vanilla ice cream. Truffle fries can't be wrong and good that it was not salty.

Their coffee sucks and it was not hot when it comes. Obviously not fresh at all. Quite disappointed. But we loved the ambiance and the whole experience.

Excellent service, friendly staff, and amazing/memorable food. The truffle fries were the perfect crispiness and the aioli was delightful. I also had the butternut squash soup which was so impeccably wonderful that I will for sure be coming here again, until next time soup, until next time :'(

Food and atmosphere is amazing with a good selection of beer.Just finished having dinner there and got home to find my toddlers shoes were missing. Called back there tonight and got ahold of Chris who went above and beyond. He took a look at our table for them. Unfortunately nothing was there but he did take a look outside and found them.

Amazing!! Steak was tender, flavourful. Best steak I've had in years.

Food tastes amazing!! Was super excited when we went here for a date however our first and last experience we got food poisoning and it put us in the hospital. It was a disappointment as we did love the food much more than your typical Earls/Joeys. We called management and they didn't really bother to offer anything except mention they would follow up which we never got. Owning a company, making sure customers feel taken care of is a priority. This happened a year ago but to this day mention this experience to everybody we know! Always want to go to other Cactus clubs but this one has turned us away from the brand.

Awesome happy hour deal, they have a small menu on which everything is 3 dollars. Includes fish tacos, mini chicken burgers, truffle fries (yum!) on the food side and a selection of drinks as well including a red and white wine, Bellinis and some half decent beer.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. I was in with my boss who is a pretty demanding customer and our waitress handled him like a pro.

They have a lounge as well as a dining room. I prefer the dining room as the music in the lounge area is too loud for my ears and for doing business. The booths in the dining room have tall backs and help to muffle the screams of any stupid children that may be in the establishment.

I quite enjoy coming here for happy hour and I will definitely be back!

We had a lovely afternoon and dinner on the patio. It was warm, and the rinks during happy hour were reasonably priced. I'm a sucker for belini's and the beer was pretty good too. We had the mushroom steak which was delicious. Made a tad rare but there were multiple offers to get us a new steak. It was equally delicious. I had the jambalaya which was nice considering I'm usually skeptical of that type of thing from a more traditional chain. Either way I had a great afternoon. The staff were all lovely too

My favourite Cactus Club location. Been coming here since it first opened up. Love the layout, staff is friendly, food is amazing and wait times have generally not been too long during busy hours. Love to sit outside on their beautiful patio and sip a Bellini during the summer months.

My daughter organized my birthday event on Saturday night (Mar 25, 2017) for a group of 20 adults. We felt welcomed for the full 3 hours we were there. The restaurant was busy but we were well attended to and had two exceptional servers (with the manager helping out as well). We never felt rushed, the food & drink were absolutely great. They had no problem providing individual bills. It was a wonderful relaxing evening.

I actually ate here twice during my last trip, and thoroughly enjoyed my meals on both days. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, and they have a great variety of entrees. They also have a full bar and a decent selection of bottles beers and on tap. The atmosphere here is really neat and adds a lot to the experience. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could, it was that good!

My dad and I come here very often, almost every two and a half weeks, and we love this restaurant. The servers are ALWAYS very friendly and respectful. We never have to wait for a table even when the place is packed. The noise is sometimes loud though, I wish they would turn down their music (but it is a very hip place so you should probably expect some noise). The patio is super awesome in the summer; its quieter than the inside and their set up is pretty nice (you don't really hear the street). For drinks I highly recommend the Bellini in the summer and the Adrenaline in the winter. When it comes to food you cannot go wrong with this place.
