Great place, Fun rides, tones to do. I've had some memorable times come from this place. Although its often quite busy if you don't go at the right times and prices for food and snacks are far from great.

m... my daughter left the park in tears today... We were in line to the "The Boulder Bumpers". The lady who worked there measured my daughter (she was ok to go), then realized there is only one car available. We had to skip an extra ride to get both kids in there. When the time has come, the lady (Chelsea I believe) remeasured my daughter, saying things like "you HAVE to leave". I tried to explain that a week ago she was fine and were riding here with no problems... The lady started arguing with me in a raised voice WHY my daughter can not go and she has probably just grew so much since then.
My both children were shocked by this kind of service, no one is allowed to talk with them in this manner. We were just humiliated on the day of Thank you Calgary weekend.

P.S. there are rules of being certain height, that I respect, but her head was just under the bar (not leaving enough gap as I was told by the lady) and a week ago it worked. The one thing my daughter asked me and I did not know what to tell to be honest - Why the first measurement was fine?! we waited and now she turned us out? did I REALLY grew up so much in 3 min so much today to break the car, when measured the second time!

This is the perfect amusement park for couples with small and/or young families.

There are lots of rides for the kids to grow into over the years, and a couple of exciting ones for Mom and Dad.

Get the season's pass in December, and register it before February. The cost of a single trip will get you unlimited access all summer. If you register early, you will also get monthly coupons for entry that you can give to friends, family and co-workers.

Had a really good time ..the entrance fee was $40 which is not expensive and it includes all rides. I went out with my friends here and we brought our own food and drinks, yes there was waiting line for rides...but it was not too long and rides were worth it. Plus this park is at great location with lots of friendly staff. We enjoyed a lot and it was wonderful experience overall.

Like that it's local and not overly expensive. It would be nice of some of the rides were swapped out or changed (one or two every 2 or 3 years). There seems to be lots of room around so not sure if expansion is possible but would be nice. Longer hours during all the days of the summer months would be great. It is good value though for a family especially if you have a pass.

I still love this place. Rides are always fantastic, staff is usually very friendly! Wait times aren't bad at all, and is often worth the wait.

Only complaints are seating, and food areas. The one indoor restaurant is simply not big enough to manage the guests in the park. Indoor seating areas are important especially with the weather. But there's hardly any room.

Food service is also not very efficient, and definitely stressful for both staff, and guests during peak hours. I feel bad for the staff who have to work with the food.

Other than that, park is clean, and you're sure to have a great day there!

Our first time in the campground was with the Canada 150 package: 2 nights full service + 4 1-day passes for $150. We're a bit new to the RV life, with just 2 years and a total of now 6 trips under our belts. We've dry camped and now full service camped. Calaway campground was a great experience. Compared to our past practice of a single hotel night and a day at the park then heading home back in Edmonton this was an amazing deal! With full hookups, clean sites, great grass absent of any weeds, and a super kid-friendly environment with showers and plumbing. The free hot chocolate/coffee was also an unexpected treat even though I knew of it ahead of time I didn't appreciate how awesome it would be for all four of us. And, the coffee wasn't bad. Prices in the store were convenient but not cheap but also not insanely inflated as you might see in a Vegas convenient store in a hotel.

If we see a package like this in the future, we will most definitely snap it up. Just wish the seasons pass offered some kind of discount- because we'd totally get a pass and camp more often!

Loved it as a kid - realised going back as an adult not really worth it. I'll probably only go back if I ever have kids.

We get park passes for the family every year. It's an older park but well maintained and fun for the whole family. We love coming here.

It's a great place to let the kids blow off steam! All the shows are included in admission. Season passes are way more economical then paying per visit. Even when we didn't live in Calgary we bought seasons passes because it was cheaper than paying each day.

It's a good amusement park, but they rarely add any new rides... The paint on everything is slowly fading and they really need to add more stuff to the park. It's still an awesome park if you go there the first time, but it gets a bit old after a while...
