Calgary Association of the Deaf is a non-charitable non-profit organization. We are dedicated to addressing the accessibility, advocacy, education and communication needs of the Deaf Calgarians. With our head office in Calgary, Alberta and we excel at communication access through American Sign Language, advocacy, improving public awareness and understanding the Deaf Culture, promoting the rights and addressing the needs & concerns of Deaf Calgarians. Mission: Calgary Association of the Deaf is a non-profit working to protect and promote the rights, needs and concerns of Deaf Calgarians while endeavoring to improve the quality of life for Deaf people in general. Strategic Priorities: 1. To become a leader in Calgary for services to those who are Deaf and to take bold positions on significant issues facing our clients. 2. Improve our public profile, strengthen our brand and achieve financial sustainability. 3. Continue to improve our programs, expand our reach within Calgary and area and grow our social enterprises.
