Calgary Co-Op Sierra Springs Food Centre

I wanted to tried this caramel apple pie. My mistake I wish I just stick with the normal apple pie. I regret that I just wasted my dollor. We couldn't eat it being too sweet and too much caramel inside.. just gross

Best place in town to buy beef, especially when it’s on sale. Fresh produce, friendly staff, very clean store, recommend

I got a picture cake made for my dad for his 76th birthday. The people in the bakery blew me away, I told them we were doing a rock and roll theme and added music notes and a guitar.
The whole party loved it, the cake was so special❤️

It's a very good store for variety, cleanliness and the staff are awesome. The only thing I don't like is there to overpriced. So I give this store four stars because the other star they didn't get is being overpriced

Decent selection of Keto options, thank you! Breads, snacks, sauces, spreads, desserts. A small Co-op but does a good job. Can find some cool things here. Like Space Cacti....

Not just a place to get your groceries. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is like a big family here. The meat selection is top quality. The baked goods are generally the best in town. My favorite place to shop.

This is a very nice new location, larger than their old store. However it's still very over stocked making it hard to get around. The staff can either be really friendly or not friendly at all which can be a bit off putting. A wonderful selection of wines, beers and spirits though in a very modern looking store. Watch the flyers as they often have great deals.

Wide sellection nicely displayed goods clean and helpful workforce. Great shopping experience.

It's not my go-to grocery stop due to location, but it's got a great salad/curry bar and amazing baked goods selections.

Good selection including bakery. Prices can be a little high at times. Nice gas station with great automatic car wash

Nice Coop location. However it still has Coop prices.

Was in airdrie on my way home but needed stuff for supper. Paid $7.99 for four cobs of corn prepackaged and partially hulled. Once I got home and took off the plastic wrap, I saw the cut ends were covered in mold so I threw them out. I would have returned them but we don't live in airdrie.

Some may tell you that Coop is more expensive. And while that may true in general
It honestly depends on how you shop and what you are looking for. With frequent sales it is possible to be fairly frugal. I however enjoy shopping at Coop because their produce is consistently better. And I can actually find what I am looking for. The layout if far more constant then other stores. Who intentionally mix things up knowing consumers are more likely to impulse shop when exposed to more products.

The store also has great staff retention, which leads to higher quality service. With the added advantage that the store is much less congested then many of its competitors. The only real down side to me, is the traffic on Yankee Valley Blvd to get there.
