Calgary Cozy Home is pure dangerous. I stayed in one room that is advertised as a double bed room. When I arrived there with my spouse, the double bed is not a double bed but rather a pull out bed. This pull out bed when pulled out, prevents the door to the room from opening. You can't open the door when the bed is pulled out!!! This is pure dangerous and a fire hazard as you can not get out of the room easily if there is a fire!!!
I will definitely be reporting this business and it's owners to the City of Calgary for not having proper fire code. This place should be shutdown as it is a fire trap waiting to happen.
I have stayed at several AirBNBs in the past and Calgary Cozy Home is the worst so far. The owner of this BNB has about 5 rooms that he and his wife rent out. He advertises that you have a common place for other guests to watch TV and to use a kitchen, but the owner fails to mention in his ads that this space is primarily dominated by him and his family. The owner also has 2 small children and they run around the house yelling and screaming disturbing guests.
The owner is basically trying to run a 5 roomed hotel business while having his family living in the residence disturbing guests. This concept simply does not work and I would never stay here again.
Had the displeasure of staying at this place with my husband. This place has a wifi lock on their front door and would not work at times. Room was very small and cold. Could hear other hotel guests and the owners Vickie and Dong were not very friendly and were extremely rude. Avoid this place at all costs!! This was a waste of my hard earned money.
Stay away from this AirBNB. The host has several rooms in the basement and keeps the temperature very cold. Had to keep my jacket on while sleeping at night. Room was small and sheets had body fluid stains on it. Bathroom was filthy with hair in the sink.
Also, the owner of this AirBNB keeps a huge pile of snow at the end of their walkway. Seen them throwing blue salt on it instead of removing the snow. This is pure laziness of the owner as salt will not melt a pile of snow when it is -25C outside.
