On May 5, 2019, hundreds of firefighters from all over North America and the world will climb the stairs of Calgary's BOW tower, Western Canada's tallest building, in support of firefighters and citizens living with cancer. #yycfire

Calgary Firefighters responded to the 3400 block of Kerry Park Rd SW around 7:10pm for a garage fire. Fire Crews worked quickly to knock down and extinguish the fire. #yycfire

Calgary Firefighters along with EMS and CPS responded to the parking lot of Saddletowne LRT Station near the intersection of Saddletowne Circle and 60th St NE for a pedestrian and several other vehicles that were struck from vehicle shortly before 5:30pm. #yycfire

Calgary Firefighters worked together with CP Rail today after railcars came off the tracks near 30 Ave and Alyth Rd SE. There was no public safety issue and CP crews were using a crane to set the cars upright. #yycfire

Your Calgary Firefighters responded and extinguished a two alarm house fire in Springbank Hill SW around 5am this morning. Crews upon arrival were faced with a significant amount of smoke and flame extending from the rear of the structure. #yycfire

Fire Crews responded and extinguished a structure fire around 11am in the community of Forest Lawn SE. #yycfire

Calgary Firefighters were busy today, responding to two second alarm fires. The first structure fire came in around 9am near 14 St and 28 Ave SW. The second fire was on Canso Cres SW around 1:50pm. #yycfire

Calgary Firefighters responded for a house fire around 1:25am this morning on Maidstone Dr. NE. When Firefighters entered the home, one patient was found and removed where crews began CPR immediately.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation #yycfire
