Calgary Geoscience Data Managers Society (Cgdms)

Our vision is to create a platform for geoscience data managers to share tips and best practices, ask questions of their colleagues and provide support for each other. We enable our members to share information on education, certification, industry related training and other professional development opportunities. We aim to provide a venue for Calgary practitioners to present case studies and showcase innovative products and processes. We encourage mentoring by connecting new Data Managers with seasoned veterans at learning and social networking events. We offer a platform for geoscience and data management societies to share their vision and opportunities, and to create a means for finding, sharing, transferring and archiving knowledge about geoscience data management.
