Each time I've dealt with Dr. Qi I found him to be very patient, he explained everything I needed to know and repeated whatever I needed him to, he was always very gentle, calm, and kind to my dog, and I think he's terrific, I have always been very satisfied with his help.

My dog had been limping for many weeks, my regular vet said nothing could be done other than putting her on glucosamine and seeing if that would help, that it was just arthritis due to her genetically twisted feet and ankle bones. But after only one acupuncture treatment with Dr. Qi she was almost limp free. She had three more treatments and never limped again, not once, right up until her death many years later.

I also took her to Dr. Qi after a bad fall for a quick checkup prior to making an appointment at his clinic for a chiropractic treatment (the emergency vet - see my review for Calgary North Vet Hospital - said she'd only twisted her back and there was nothing to be done except give it time to heal, but she seemed to be in so much pain I knew I had to try to do something else for her). Dr. Qi noted within a moment of walking into the room that there was something else very wrong with her and said I should have my regular vet check her at once. At the recheck, she ended up being immediately admitted for lifesaving surgery for internal injuries that had been missed the first time by the emergency vet, even with xrays having been taken.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this clinic, and Dr. Qi.

Had a wonderful experience here! This place was recommended to us by our Cane Corso breeder for ear cropping and we were not disappointed. Susan and Dr.Qi are very experienced and talented with all types of crops and very knowledgable.They are always available to answer our questions and concerns and followed up with us to see how our Cane Corso was doing. We can see why this place is highly recommended!
Right from the receptionist to the Doctor, every single person is very friendly and always willing to help. Sometimes you might have to wait a bit longer than your appointment time to see Susan, that's because she makes that the pet owners are educated throughly on what to do and what not to. This makes the wait worth it because you know she will do the same for you.
Will recommend this place any day for people who are concerned about their pet's well being.

Dr. Qi, Helen and his staff are sweet, thorough and accommodating. They ensure you have all the correct directions after a check-up or appointment. They always follow-up with phone call the next day to ensure your fur baby is ok and ask if you have any additional questions or concerns. We have two dogs, one being a rescue, I've never been to a vet where my rescue didn't shutter, shake and get extremely uncomfortable, until Dr. Qi. He treats the animals as if they are his own and his quiet, calm nature is reassuring to them. My rescue dog loves and trusts him when she sees him. We will never go to another veterinary clinic. Staff is helpful and friendly! Had both Kittens spayed and neutered... doing great! Will be bringing our 14 year old for her next exam in the near future! Highly recommend this clinic.

We love the whole team at Calgary Holistic Vet! They know our names, they know our preferences, they know our dog. When our first dog was euthanized, they gave us all the advice we needed to make the most difficult decision at the right time. They showed care and compassion for our dearest pet and our broken hearts.

We have been with Dr. Qi for the entire 9 years we've lived in Calgary. I like, so much, that they never over prescribe medication . They test the blood for immunity. The staff is always friendly and helpful. On occasion I have a challenge with understanding a point Dr. QI is trying to make, but all it takes is a little clarification on my part to get the answer I need. He takes such great care of Jake (our Boston terrier). I definitely recommend checking them outo.

My cat got out of the house and was missing for a month and a half. We luckily got him back and brought him straight to a vet. I have kids so i decided it was a good idea to de-worm him. The second treatment of dewormer my cat reacted to which is not common but i guess it does happen time to time. I brought him back in and the Dr. gave me everything i would need to make him comfortable and to help him heal. The reception made sure to follow up with me to see how he was doing and they even called the company of the product so they were aware. He still has a little wound but it is healing and looks so much better. I appreciate everything the Dr did for me and my fur baby and i appreciate the friendly reception ladies who were able to get me in when i needed to most. I will only take my pets here from now on.

I've been a client here for 16 years. Dr. Qi and is staff are nothing short of amazing. I can't count the times he has gone out of his way to help our pets from staying after hours to coming in early. I wouldn't trust anyone else to handle our pets care.
