Holy crow! Just in to Video Game Trader and they definitely killing it with Genre films with Basket Case , Creepshow2, Children of the Corn, Bride of Re-Animator,CHUD, Eaten Alive, Microwave Massacre, The Mutilator, Hellraiser, George A Romero's Season of The Witch, Two Thousand Maniacs, Blood Feast, Dolls, The Howling, Demented, Night of the Comet, Nightbreed, Night of The Demons, Deadly Blessing, Body Bags, Rabid, Motel Hell, Night of the Lepus and The Burning on Blu-Ray just to name a few. Support these guys as this is one of the few and best selections of Genre movies in Calgary. I grabbed a ton of rare movies including "House". Thank you Jeff, I am like a kid in a candy store.

Hey folks, if you had a Danielle Harris photo op booked please put in a case through paypal as it makes it very easy for me to refund money.

You know I've been trying to get to this convention for the last couple of years and despite my work schedules never really working for me, I am happy that I made the extra effort to make it this year. This is hands down the best convention I've been to and I will definitely be back. I really wanted to make the extra effort to shake dan's hand to thank him personally for all the hard work that him and his team did for making this convention the best it could be. One of the best things I take out of this convention is that it has a very nice atmosphere and it catered the perfect amount of people with regards to its location. Everybody who was there were there for the same reasons and it made for a very comforting and relaxing experience. No area of the convention felt mismanaged or congested. You could actually have conversations with all the guests. The vendors were more than accommodating when it came to helping you find something. The short film festival had its share of entertaining moments. The layout was incredibly easy to understand and overall just everybody had a really great attitude throughout the entire experience. I never met one person that had a bad attitude throughout the entire event. I think this is a true testament to how efficiently this event is run and how much pride Dan and his team should take in making this event the best possible event it could be. From the guy who wore that pusheen jacket throughout that entire event, thanks for making this a wonderful event and I can't wait to see what you guys have planned for next year.

This was our first year (Captain Spaulding and The Exorcist) we had a great time but definitely look forward to bigger and better with 2018!!

I'd say easier debit/cash options and more of an itinerary or announcements because we missed movies etc

It was truly awesome to be at an even filled with people just as creepy and strange as me

This was our first Horror Con. We absolutely loved it. Next year we will come a little bit more prepared. The Venue was very tight and slightly confusing. However with all of the wonderful vendors and Celebrities, the day was super fun and just all around Amazing. We hope in the years to come we might see it at a slightly larger venue. No matter where it is though, We will be back ������

The energy and buzz at this show is amazing. It is not like other events where guests sign your stuff and hurry you along. You can actually have a decent conversation with any guest. Definitely feels more intimate. You can see why it was in it's 7th year. Lots of fun and cool stuff to do, see and buy.

Such a good convention & loved the guests that were invited this year !

Still want to see Freddy. But Linda Blair will be cool. I'll smudge before I see her. Jks can't wait to see ajax

One of those rare cons that feels less like a convention, and more like a bunch of friends getting together to talk about horror. Maybe you're into the movies, maybe you're into the culture, maybe you're a metal head, maybe you're into tattoos, maybe you like ghosts, or maybe you're just an awesome freak. This con brings us all together. I've gone since the first year, and every year it gets better, and it's one of the few conventions I can see myself travelling to no matter where life takes me. I can't wait until my son's old enough to tag along.

My first horror-con and really enjoyed it! Picked up a couple cool souvenirs and met the star of my all time fav horror movie (dawn of the dead)!

Luckily stumbled upon this while visiting Calgary from NL. Huge horror / Halloween fan, have traveled specifically to Orlando in the past just for Halloween horror nights for example. This event was great, I was amazed at how intimate it was! There was no issue speaking with any of the guests and asking questions!

It’s a must, my family had the best weekend ever, we are already planning on making the trip next year.

It's fun but the same booths, products, set up, every year is a let down. I planned for 6 months coming to Calgary and booking off work. I ended up staying for 2 hours this year and I didn't come back Sunday even though I had a weekend pass. Other than meeting the guests and sick art it was pretty boring. Literally everything was the same as last year. I love this exists close enough to home but still, just a tip. Also, no photo ops, that sucked.

I have been a part of all 8. I know what goes on behind the scenes to make this happen and I see and get to experience the out come. Every year it just keeps getting better and better. I love you horror family! Till next time....

Going to jump right in with what a bunch of people are going to complain about... Linda Blair chose to see the fans who lined up to get autographs instead of the panel. I have to give her credit for that. Two reasons... these people stood waiting for hours to see her, and are making donations to her rescue foundation to boot! I mentioned it to the guy who broke the news to us, but I appreciated the no-nonsense delivery that the panel was cancelled, and when I was leaving, people were packing up, taking things to their vehicles... Linda Blair was still meeting her fans. Of course I can't wait for next year!

Dan is amazing and get some of the top actors and icons in the industry. 2 thumbs up
