The Calgary Institute for the Humanities supports humanities-based research on topics of timely and enduring concern.

Calgary Institute For The Humanities Description

The Calgary Institute for the Humanities was founded at the University of Calgary in 1976. We host resident fellows, graduate research fellows, and visiting scholars who are pursuing high-level research on humanities-based topics. Each year we hold a Community Seminar that brings three international scholars to Calgary to discuss an issue of social importance from differing perspectives. We also regularly hold seminars and public lectures.
