The life of our congregation is guided by our understanding of the Christian faith in the Anabaptist and Mennonite tradition and we are revitalized by the ongoing revelation of God through scripture, the wonder of each person’s life experience and striving to learn the ‘Jesus Way’. Two scriptures have been especially important in the life of CIM:

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and…love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments. ’ Matthew 22: 37 - 40.
‘And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. ’ Micah 6: 8
