Aussie football in Calgary!

Australian Football is becoming incredibly popular outside of it's native Australia. Calgary is a great example of this.

The Calgary Kangaroos Australian Football Club consists of three teams: the Calgary Bears, Calgary Cowboys and the Calgary Wolves. These three teams train together and play against each other throughout the summer.

The teams participate annually in the Kelowna Cup against teams from British Columbia. Calgary also hosts the annual Stampede Cup during the Calgary Stampede, where we host teams from Calgary, Edmonton and British Columbia.

In the fall of each season the Bears, Cowboys and Wolves combine their top talent to represent Calgary as the Kangaroos at the US Nationals.

We always welcome new players to come out and 'have a kick' for the first time. No experience is necessary and it's a great group of people to have fun with while you learn a new sport and stay in great shape!
