The Calgary Residential Rental Association (CRRA) is the largest residential rental association in Alberta. The CRRA was formed in 1959 and is a registered non-profit society. Our primary purpose is to help our members succeed in their business. There are three membership categories: Owners and Managers of residential rental property; Service Companies or Businesses that provide a product or service in support of the residential rental industry and Non-Profit Organizations.
Our Owner / Manager Members represent holdings exceeding 50, 000 rental units. They include the largest landlords and property management companies in Alberta and smaller landlords who have one rental unit, such as: a house, condo, townhouse or basement suite. Our fastest growing category of Owner / Manager Membership consists of individuals who own or manage less than 10 units.
Our Service Members provide a wide variety of services and products. Many of these members offer exclusive discounts to our members and participate in our annual Trade Show in Calgary where they showcase their products and services to the show's hundreds of attendees.
We provide our members with information, assistance, guidance and referrals that helps them to succeed in their business. Members requiring assistance or an answer to their question usually find a simple call to our office is all that's needed.
We also provide our members with useful information through our educational seminars and courses. Networking is an extremely valuable way to learn from others in the industry and we offer a variety of opportunities for our members to get together such as our: monthly educational seminars and luncheons, professional courses, annual golf tournament, Awards Gala and Trade Show.
