Calgary Shawarma

Best shawarma place in Calgary. The owner is the most genuine guy and his food speaks for itself. The chicken shawarma with sunshine sauce is my personal favourite.

My favorite tasting donair, after living in 9 different Canadian cities! He's memorized my order, and I feel great after leaving. Most personable and pro guy. I love paying him a visit and eating his food!!!

Worst Shawarma place in Calgary. Cedar's Deli and Jerusalem Shawarma are much better on every level. This place is small and there's only one guy working most of the time. Last time I went to this place there was a cardboard with pictures of vegetables hiding all the real vegetables from the customers view and it also hides the area where the Shawarma is prepared. So there's no way of seeing how fresh the vegetables are and no way of seeing if the prep area is clean and no way of telling the worker if you have enough or want more vegetables or meats. Plus it's a pretty shady practice to hide the veggies and prep area like that when every other place have it all in the open. Food tastes below average compared to competition. Never going back there again, there's just too many better places in Calgary.
