Calgary Well Woman Clinic

My experience with this place has been nothing but horrible. First, when I got my PAP test done by them, I got a call about the results and was asked to come in to discuss them. When I asked if it was necessary, as it's a bit of a drive for me, the woman on the phone told me "Well, it's not really good news...". So here I am, crying and panicking about what this bad news is, and it turns out it was nothing... I couldn't believe it! I was so upset. Another time, they booked an appointment without realizing they don't do IUD inserts on that day of the week, so when they realized their mistake and called to reschedule, I was at work so it went straight to voicemail. By the time I got their message, their clinic was closed so I left a voicemail to cancel the appointment. No point in going if they can't do what I'm scheduled to go in for. Apparently it counted as a no show. Another time I had to cancel my appointment because my work schedule changed, so I wouldn't be able to make it. I called with more than 24 hours notice and it was confirmed by the woman on the phone that I wouldn't be able to make it... But it counted as a no show?! Now I'm on a three strikes you're out warning, where if I don't show a third time I'm not welcome there anymore. When I tried talking to the front desk staff about this, I was told "don't shoot the messenger" and there was nothing she could do. Unbelievable. Staff are rude and unprofessional, this place is poorly run. Look elsewhere.

Love this clinic. Would like to counteract a review here. All my experience at this clinic has been wonderful. The friendly and warm staff are always so nice and accommodating. This clinic is wonderful. Thank you for all that you do :) :) highly recommend.

If you are going to this clinic desperately seeking help with peri menopause symptoms, DO NOT waste your time. I went there seeking help and saw Dr. Morgan who basically told me that if I am having normal periods my symptoms are just part of getting old!! I am 47 and suffering miserably, and thought this clinic was supposed to help. The dr. Looked like she had basically given up the fight, so it shouldn't have surprised me with her response to my symptoms. If you pick up any book on the subject you would know that during perimenopause you suffer the worst symptoms but still have regular periods. This woman was ill equipped on the subject and refused to blood test my progesterone! What kind of menopause clinic is this? I went home crying... DO NOTgive up the fight to find help..even if you have to go into debit to see an Alternative medical Practioner. You do not need to suffer, and dont listen to closed minded GPs. Good Luck!

The staff at this clinic are sooo friendly & reliable! Appointment duration can take longer sometimes but i dont mind it because the service is great... Rotzinger has been such a refreshing change from the other physicians i've seen-very respectful of my concerns(...being in the medical field myself-i have lots!) &makes it a point to address them! Very happy to have found this clinic..

I had my first PAP test done here today, which I have been putting off for years (even though the guidelines were recently changed and I'm technically not late for it anymore). The staff at this clinic are super helpful, and the doctor who did my exam (Dr. Moffard) was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I have PTSD as a result of a sexual assault when I was 16, and still find physical contact of this nature to be traumatic. The PAP test was still an extremely difficult process, but the kindness and understanding of the staff at the Well Woman Clinic was the only reason I was able to go through with it in the first place.
