What a wonderful place and great atmosphere....the food was fantastic and it was the best Greek Food that I have tasted in years....so glad that I was introduced to this wonderful place.....looking forward to many great more meal there in the future!

Menu change since my last visit a few years ago. An improvement!

The calamari meal was excellent at every level...he Greek roasted potato..greek rice...veggies.. loads of succulent calamari.. lightly breaded and deep fried.

The moussaka meal didn't disappoint. Full portion of tasty tomato sauce..roasted egg plant and becamel sauce.

It is the only place to get great Greek food! Waitress was awesome. Food was excellent! I have never had a bad meal at Calypso's!

Excellent food experience if you are looking for true rustic authentic Greek food! All the mezethes were crave-worthy - the saganaki, keftedes, and taramasalata were executed perfectly - they even table side finish the saganaki with a shot of metaxa! The fast food stuff, find it everywhere, like the souvlaki were just average and ho-hum, but you do not want to order that here! Go for the true peasant style Greek dishes like the lamb klefteko and you will leave this place feeling totally satisfied and believe you have just eaten in a great little taverna in a tiny Greek village! Do not miss the bougatsa for dessert or you are doing the whole experience an injustice!! Service was great, but we did go on a night when it wasn't very busy - which is actually a crime, because there should be a line up to get into this little gem!!

Evey time we come to Calgary, we come to this restaurant...... OMG.... Food is amazing, the staff are awesome and the Greek dessert is to die for..... Can't wait to come to come back again for the food from home

Been here many times now. Food is excellent, good portions, reasonable prices and great friendly service!! It's where we go for Greek food!!

Amazing experience. Peter is lovely and kept the place open for us even though he was ready to close!

Great food and atmosphere, prices are mid-range. One of the guests at our table had to send his steak back, he ordered medium rare and it came out practically blue rare, but they fixed it promptly.

Good food. Nice owner. A little lacking in atmosphere but nothing to hold me back from enjoying a great meal
