Welcome to our group!
Who are we?
Calysto Steel Band is a non-profit organization local to Calgary and consists of members ranging in age from their twenties to their early sixties as well as coming from diverse backgrounds but we all share a common denominator, the love of the steel drums.
The band has six main sections. Single tenor steel drums, double-tenor, double-second, triple cello, quad- and six-bass steel pans and finally drums & percussion, the "engine room" so to speak.
If you love the sound of steel drums come on out to some of our public performances posted in the recent news section.
We can play for any occasion! ! Festivals, Corporate, Conventions, Special Events, Birthday Parties, Pubs, Weddings etc.
