Truly had a wonderful stay, from check to check front was excellent spontaneous. The Housekeeping staff was awesome , the room amazing. Surely will highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much. Hope to see you all again.
This hotel was awesome! The Garden lounge was especially nice and generous! We were there for the Brett Kissel concert and the lounge was super busy on Friday, we didn’t get served for about 15 minutes and we were in a rush like everyone else. They took care of most of the items on our bill and continued to give us great service over our whole stay! Special thanks to Jordan, Lindsay, Jamie and the other girls we missed. The hotel itself is nice, the beds were super comfy and there are so many amenities attached to this hotel. There is something to do for everyone!
That's awesome place for night, week, month. Pretty friendly workers and managers
Like going back home! Stayed there over the years when it was the "Capri" The #AlbertaFireChiefsConference was there this week. Great friendly,Courteous, polite staff from the check in counter to the lounge to the conference rooms and Banquet. My room on the 14th floor was immaculate. You can't beat the Steak specials, wings etc in the lounge! Great waitresses. The buffet breakfasts were great. Fantastic prime rib dinner in the evening. Lots of shops in the hotel. Lots of parking and room for large Firetruck exhibitors at the Trade Show. Billy Bobs is a nice attachment. And lots of Restuarant's across the street. Pool etc. I loved the place. Well kept. Definitely stay there again!
A few years ago, I had the pleasure of hosting a student leadership conference with 50 attendees. The Sheraton Hotel made sure we had everything we needed for a successful conference and they kept prices very reasonable. Students from all around Alberta commented on how helpful and courteous the staff members were and how awesome the food was! An excellent time had by all.
Worst experience ever, room never got cleaned complained x amount of times, nothing done, kiddie bar is absolutely pathetic drunks everywhere in the hotel parking lot yelling and screaming cops there Saturday night, worst hotel ever don't take your young kids here please don't spend 170 a night for such a scum bag hotel
Loved it!! Everyone was so great and helpful! We went for the Trews and BigSugar concert. Concert venue was great! Our room was beautiful, clean, got upgraded to a Kingsize room!! Shower was amazing, so big. Restaurants were excellent reasonably priced!! Definitely be our place to stay when we are in RedDeer from now on!!
It was lovely staying at your hotel for two nights. The services were good and staff courteous. The bed and beddings are good and clean. The washroom was super clean and I had good night rest. The breakfast and lunch was super. I will recommend it to friends and family.
Our light was burnt out and the room was almost totally sat - our door handle to the bathroom fell off. I called to ask for maintenance and was told in a not very polite way it would be overtime to fix - so it wouldn’t happen until the next day when we had already checked out
Awesome hotel if you getta corner suite! The lounge on the 9’th floor really took it over the top. Great breakfast in that lounge! Really enjoyed our stay. We will be back for sure
Staff are very friendly but the hotel leaves much to be desired. Very dated rooms, no USB ports, windows are so dirty you can hardly see the sun come up, water is barely warm enough to shower in. Beds are comfortable though and they have decent coffee so I'll be okay for the next couple of days. Would not book here again though.
I just checked in, the live TV does not work and inside the A/C unit is filthy
Hotel was very nice but very unforgiving if you make an error on a booking. We are already customers for a future date but they would not step out of "policy". I would have felt much better about this chain knowing we could work together and I would remain a long time customer. (It was my error on a cancellation.) No complaints about staff or service at the hotel, it was very nice. Thank goodness I booked through Hotels com, they offered a small gift certificate since the Sheraton was unforgiving. I would never book directly through a hotel now knowing this.
Besides housekeeping banging on my door @10 at night to see if I need my room cleaned!!!and were about to open my door before I did 😡then no sooner did my child fall asleep there was a dog barking😡so needless to say didn’t sleep good at all!!
BUT on a more positive note I brought it to management attention they assured me that was not normal for housekeeping to b going into rooms at that time in night and were very apologetic and reimbursed me for a night stay👏🏼So with that being said I would stay here again!!!
We had Valentines Day Buffet at R & R restaurant. This is the third time I have been in the past year in hopes of it getting better and more like the old Capri buffet used to be. NO, NO, NO. The restaurant was freezing cold, ALL the hot food was freezing cold, the bread rolls all stale and like rocks, no vegetables with the luke warm roast beef and they dont have gravy anymore apparently. How they can charge $25 per person I have no idea. It was absolutely disgusting. Not recommended at all. I shall never return. The Black Knight buffet is far, far superior.
This past weekend my husband and I stayed here. We found it to be a nice hotel with friendly staff. My husband was having a drink in the lounge with parents from our sons hockey team. My husband made a comment about how he liked the mugs that were being used. After paying his bill the waitress asked to see my husbands hands and pockets. As to assume he was going to steal the mug. This was uncalled for and inappropriate. We will not be back until the staff learn not to racial profile their costumers.
Parent company stands for LGBT rights, yet the Red Deer hotel hosts a convention for the UCP which pretty much wants to do away with anybody in the LGBT spectrum or anybody who is not Christian.
I was at a bar attached to your hotel tonight. I went to the lobby to get warm as it was -43 out and New Year’s Eve. and was told by your security guard that I was a piece of shit. I was asked for a card from the guard to confirm I was attending or paying for a hotel. One of the guests actually said I was apart of his company and showed a card. I said thank you to that person. The guard then refused my brief allowance. Previous to this I had never met or talked to the guard. I was standing in a group of 5 people and was picked out and called a piece of shit. I will NEVER STAY AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT nor recommend it. I was treated with racism and disrespect the second I stepped foot in the hotel. I understand people over run the hotel at that time on New Years while waiting for a cab. The enforcement of not allowing anyone in your giant lobby is absolutely ridiculous. People’s safety should be the main concern. Absolute bullying by security. 30 people out front waiting for a cab when 5 minutes outside your skin will freeze. Ridiculous.
I just had the worst stay ever at a hotel. Checked into the Sheraton red deer on Thursday and had nothing but issues from the ac not working or deciding to work and us freezing the noise and fights from Billy Bob's both Friday and Saturday night. The crappy gross shower the lack of house keeping . The pillow were so used and smelly it wasn't funny. Talk to shift manager about it and more or less got an oh well the bar has been there longer then the hotel.......
I didn't really care about that fact but more the fact that I got less then 8 hours sleep over 3 nights in this hotel plus was there for conference and had to stay awake during classes .
Oh well is their attitude.
Well Sheraton Red Deer due to your lack of care and oh well attitude we will NEVER stay at a Sheraton ever again
