Campers Village

Although I shopped at Camper's Village before, those trips were usually quick in an out visits for products commodity products (those are the same regardless of where I get them). Recently I returned to the store for a winter jacket. I found the staff friendly and quite knowledgeable in the products that they sold. They were not pushy or rushed. Overall they made for a very pleasant shopping experience. It's difficult to compare prices because many competitors carried different products. However the products did seem to be of good quality. I will continue to shop here when I have a need for something that they carry.

I have shopped at campers village for a few years and have generally thought their customer service was good and found their quality of product was high.
The reason for my lower rating is that that last 6 times I have tried to order something online I have instead received an email telling me they no longer have the product.. I am very tired of this and it is leading me to shop online with their competitors..

Wide selection of anything camping related. It's hard to imagine all of the stuff in the store fits in that building. Even with the amount of selection I did not feel overwhelmed by choice. Everything is well laid out and easy to find.

Buying a backpack at Campers Village was an excellent experience and one I would strongly recommend. They had exactly the kind of bag I was looking for, and the staff knew all about it and were happy to help. They were knowledgable and passionate about the products they sold, incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, weren't pushy and didn't upsell. When I got home and realized I had selected the incorrect size of bag, I called into the store and they were able to find the right size bag, in the same color, and put it on hold for me to come and exchange later. All in all it was an exceptional retail experience and I will definitely be returning for all my travel needs

Shaun at Campers Village is hands down the best customer experience I have ever had in my life, the level of above and beyond that he went to get me a Camp Chef stove in time for May long weekend is truly amazing. In a slightly blonde moment of mine I started looking for a camp stove on Thursday, found the model I liked then saw the great sale that was on for the Pro 60. After calling the Calgary location and finding out the only one they had in stock was on hold for a customer my dreams were dashed knowing they were only available at the Edmonton South store. I gave it a shot in the dark and called seeing if they could send one down to Calgary in time for me leaving Friday and after a short period Shaun was able to work his magic and get one down within the day to Calgary where I will be picking up this afternoon. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the extra work Campers Village put in to get that down to me in that quick of a time with a wicked sale on the stove. My May long weekend has been made all because of Shaun and Campers Village (with help of UPS). Thank you so so much!!!

Went in a few weeks ago to purchase some replacement backpacking supplies and was very impressed with the staff and the help on the floor. Prices were fair. Hope they get some more gear in soon.

Awesome staff that are super friendly. This place also has a great return policy if something doesn't work for you. Make sure you don't wear the footwear outside though. That should be a given though.
